Double_Dribble
when all this talk about ratliff being traded flies in the face of what the ajc says about ratliff being traded. people are so ready to believe sources that don't come from atlanta that they are willing to believe a source in miami over michael lee in atlanta. marc berman of the post completely makes up a story with facts so flimsy they couldn't hold a feather, but people take it as gospel because it comes from a foriegn source. billy knight says ratliff won't be traded in two michael lee articles in the ajc but that gets completely ignored in the discussion. think about if the comments from knight appeared in another paper other than the ajc, would you believe it then? CHORO44
I hear you but anyone is open for trade for the right price excluding some superstars which Ratliff definitely is not. I'm sure Billy doesn't plan to trade Ratliff but the right offer would force his hand.
KB21
Mainly because, to trade Theo, you MUST get a big man in return. Not just any big man, but a big man that can play. Diesel just wants Theo gone because he never supported the idea of trading Dikembe for him. He's biased against Theo just as he is biased against Jason Terry because another one of his favorites, Mookie Blaylock, was dealt for Terry. When we were shopping Dikembe, I stated on this very board that the Hawks will not deal him unless they get a big man in return. Well, they got Theo Ratliff, which was the only deal at that time that I supported. This is the same thing. If Ratliff is traded, the Hawks will get a CENTER in return.
