Then how come there will be no NBA games on german TV this year? Seriously if you try to increase your fan base shouldn't you show more games instead of even less games? And then they wonder why their enormously overpriced pre-season games weren't sold out over here (strangely they did show that lame Wizards-Hornets pre-season game live on TV). There are at least 3 channels that had interest in showing NBA games this season but it seems like the NBA wanted to much money.

Hmm interesting. The opposite seems to be happening here in Australia. We get a couple of NBA games a week on major Pay-TV provider here and that used to be it. However, it was announced the other day that a Free-to-air provider here will be starting a 24x7 HD Sports channel and they have the rights to show the NBA here, so we should be getting more NBA on TV than we used to...for free too!

Only internet streams which are better than nothing I guess.
