God of War: Chains of Olympus

Who has this game and can help me with something? I got this game a few months ago for my PSP, which I usually only play when I'm traveling (makes the plane trips go by much faster). I've gotten to a point and can't figure out how to get past it. I'm not an avid RPG player so I'm not sure where online to go for help. I typically only play sports games, but have really enjoyed this game.

Anyways, there's a point in the game where you have to relenquish all the powers you've won in order to save your child's life. Shortly after that you fight the chick that took the powers from you. She has wings and carries you up to a tower where you have to fight her one on one. Everytime I get her energy down, she falls off the platform where she's standing and it recharges her energy. Any help?

Sorry I don't know all the names or more detailed terminology.
