Plainview1981
If you were sitting on the beach .... 85 degrees and not much wind sipping an alcoholic beverage........ would you sprain your neck looking around for a rain storm? Just a question. I don't see how this question has anything to do with the Hawks losing because they're a bad road team.
DjGrizz
Well, they've won a championship... This team just barely got out of the first round last year. This team has A LOT more to prove than Boston does. The Hawks didn't lose tonight because they didn't play with effort. They lost because this isn't a good road team. THis team is the Utah Jazz of the east coast. Um So did the Celtics.... haha dumb

dlpin
I think there is no question that everyone in the league is still very impressed with this hawks team. It is certainly much better than people thought. But there is really no comparison between the celtics losses and the hawks losses. The celtics have already said long ago that they don't care about home court advantage (and given their record on the road, they shouldn't) or the regular season. They remember last year and this year they just want to get to the playoffs rested and healthy. The hawks, on the other hand, really benefits from homecourt and should care about the standings. The celtics lost to philly at home. But even as the game got close, Doc still rested his starters quite a bit. Even with Daniels out, Sheed ejected, and a close game, Pierce and Garnett still played less than 35 minutes each. The hawks lost to the bulls in a close game too. But that happened with horford and JJ playing 48 minutes each. Point being, the hawks shouldn't be content by matching or coming close to a team that is clearly not as concerned or dependent on home court advantage. Regular season games are more important to this team than they are to Boston, Orlando and Cleveland. They've already been through the battles and they know what they can do. Plainview1981
haha The whole reason we rolled over and died against the Cavs was due to Marvin and Horford being injured. Dumb Marvin ain't worth the crap anyway. Maybe he would have given them 5 points and 4 rebounds like he does most nights. hmmmmm Heck, a fair number of the board wants the guy benched in favor of MO anyway.. Marvin sucks. Besides, A healthy team wasn't good enough to beat that Cleveland team. These are obvious things I shouldn't have to tell you. Oh yeah, I forgot about his all world defense that he supposed to have.
