Sorry if this has already been posted but I've been swamped at work. Just had a chance to read the recap since the game was blacked out for me and it was shocking to read this quote being said ABOUT the Hawks rather than by the Hawks about someone else.

"I think this was a building block because we played well, well enough to win against an elite team, but we just could not get over the hump."

Yeah I noticed that as well. Other teams/players in the league seem to see us as elite, having faced us this season.

I think it is more of the media that is still reluctant to put us into that category until we make some noise in the playoffs. Either way, when's the last time anyone heard the term the "Big Three" in the East used? That label is definitely gone at this point.
