There hasn't been a lot of information coming out of these Hawks workouts but aThursday  Michael Cuningham story on AJC.com gave us a little insight into what the Hawks might be considering with the 24th pick. Cunningham reports that the Hawks have five potential targets for the 24th pick. Georgia Tech alum Gani Lawal, who worked out on Thursday, is reportedly one of those players being considered. Cunningham also reported that Jordan Crawford canceled his workout with Hawks on Wednesday. He may have received a promise from a team picking ahead of the Hawks.

Devin Ebanks

Ebanks left West Virginia after his sophomore season. He possesses NBA talent but has some questions surrounding him as well. He was benched mid way through his sophomore season but rebounded and finished the year nicely. He is long and athletic but will need to add weight and strength to be really successful in the NBA. He has a nice perimeter game but it doesn't extend out to the NBA three point line. Ebanks is not very explosive but has the ability to get the job done. If his off the court issues are settled then he will be a nice pick for someone picking at the end of the first round.

Quincy Pondexter

Pondexter plays fast and hard, is a more than capable defender. He is an explosive finisher and an excellent athlete. He is not a great scorer but has improved, but doesn't possess a great jump shot. He gets a lot of his points off of hustle plays and turning defense into offense. He is a hard worker who could fit a need for many NBA teams out there.

Elijah Milsap

Elijah is Paul Milsap's brother and like his brother is a hard worker and scraper. However he is more of a small forward than an power forward like his brother. He does have a nose for the basketball and had an excellent year at UAB this past season. He is a capable scorer but will need to improve his jump shot. He is projected as a second round option.

Kevin Palmer

Palmer is a under the radar player out of Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He had a strong showing at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. He is a scorer by nature averaging just under 20 points per game as a senior. He is 6'6" but has a very slight build and would no doubt have to get stronger to succeed at the NBA level. He is worth keeping an eye on and could end up in the D-League.

Landon Milbourne

Solid player out of Maryland but may have peaked in terms of upside. He is hard working as most Gary Williams products are. He does a lot of things well but nothing outstanding. He gets by on desire and hard work. Appears to be a long shot to be drafted.
