The bottom line is al deserves a contract akin to the one smoove signed.

And that is questionable if he doesn't play the 5 which is the 300 lb gorilla sitting in the room that nobody wants to acknowledge.

Ive been wondering about that gorilla for forever now. He just isn't big enough to play the five effectively against alot of the bigger centers in the league. Yes he did make the all-star team and his numbers are decent, but he becomes a liability against the dwights, bynums etc. So what do you do with him and smoove? trade one, make horford half 5 and half 4 and take away from smoove's minutes? Those are questions that the ASG is probably pondering over and will continue to ponder over for some time.
