WraithSentinel
http://blogs.ajc.com/hawks/2010/11/14/timberwolves-at-atlanta-hawks-effort-not-yet-a-habit/ I don't want to say we do. It feel like our players leave their hard hat at home on some days rather then bring it to work everyday.
Premium Member Wretch Posted November 15, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) This is what happens to us after we start strong. WE START PLAYING LIKE... ...FAIRIES. All the talk about Melo. Getting a decent center. Improving perimeter D. Shot selection. It's all good. But we play hard, we play smart, and we beat down good teams or we make STRONG comebacks. Then at some point, we just start playing like fairies. Guys don't attack the basket. We don't box out. We don't hustle. In short, we start playing scared and stop doing the things that got us to big leads or kept us in games. Every team has bad games. Every team has losses or close ones against subpar competition. Every team has a losing skid now and again. The teams that buckle down when it counts and have the attitude that they are going to win the game are the teams that come out with the win. The only guy I see on our team with that attitude is Al Horford. Not surprisingly, a guy that was the heart of a back to back, NCAA championship squad. Marvin24Williams
Yes. Bibby always clips his nails short on the bench, joe always needs his 20+ , Josh Smith whines about every call, Horf is Horf, and Marvins walk has an attitude Edited November 16, 2010 by WhassupHawks
