Adam Zagoria reports that former Seton Hall shooting guard Jeremy Hazell will also be taking his talents overseas due to the NBA Lockout. If you remember, Hazell was one of the first players the Hawks contacted about coming in to participate in their free agent mini camp. Zagoria reports that Hazell excelled during the camp but because of the lockout was unable to seal a deal with Atlanta.

After going undrafted, the 6-foot-5 Hazell excelled at the Hawks’ free agent camp, but then came the lockout on July 1.
Now, with no chance to prove himself in the cancelled NBA summer league and no end to the lockout in sight, Hazell is one of several Big East standouts who will head overseas.

Again this isn't terribly surprising and follows on the heels of other mini camp participants David Lighty and Malcolm Thomas that they too were seeking employment overseas. After all these guys have never played professionally and may actually need the money.

It could be a potential problem for the Atlanta Hawks who have seven players under contract for next season. They no doubt will be looking for cheap talented options to fill the roster out but may find that once the lockout is lifted all of those options will already be playing in leagues overseas.
