My pick is still alive! IF the Marlins when the world series

I'm going to look good. I feel the Marlins simply had the

best balanced team in the National League... While the

Giants and Cubs are pitching teams and the Braves are

the hitting team I think the Marlins brought everything

to the plate....Conine/Pudge were experience players

and they had a big difference...and they have decent

hitting and pitching....None of the other 3 teams provided

that mix.

If we'd played the marlins instead of the cubs, we'd be going to the series right now. The cubs had the perfect mix to win a 5 game series, two dominating pitchers. That mix doesn't offer the same chances for success in a 7 game series.

The marlins never would have gotten by us in a 5 or 7 game series.

I'm rooting for the Marlins now though. Pudge is king!

I disagree...I thought it would be the Marlins beating

the Braves to go to the WS. They played the Braves

VERY WELL and have been the best team since June.

They are in this because they are better than the Gaints,

Braves and Cubs since June...Best record in baseball

since then. In fact, I think Pierre and Castillo would

play a better part and get more hits due to the Braves

having the weakest pitching staffs in the playoffs. They

can steal off the likes of Ortiz and Maddux and really

the Braves bullpen. The Marlins always seen to give

the Braves fits.

The best team is going to the World Series. Andrew

and Chipper need some sort of fire because they play

like a couple of wimps. The reason why the Braves

won 100 games is because of Giles and Lopez...It's

amazing what the threat 2nd in the order can give

you.
