Need to go the cheap route

Monta is ok and all but he isn't worth $10 million a year... Definitely not $12 million. We could get 2 quality free agents for that price. We could probably sign 2 of the following players that would really help us out and would seemingly fit the #SpursEast system a bit better.

Possibly:

Gary Neal ( if we can get him out of the Spurs grasps )

Mo Williams ( whom Ferry has already been talking to )

Corey Brewer ( if we can't land a center )

Bynum ( risky but cheaper than Monta and a center )

Speights ( fairly cheap center and a friend of Horford's )

Oden ( if ALL ELSE FAILS )

Ronnie Brewer ( aggressive defender, may fit the scheme )

DuJuan Blair ( Knows the Spurs system... a small big but I'd take him for the right price)

Pekovic ( Doubt we can get him out of Minny )

If we are trying to stay competitive, give me Monta over any of them. Outside of the RFAs Gary Neal and Pek, I would rather have Ellis to be honest.

Now if we are "tanking", I would just go with a young core of players and develop them while we are going nowhere, and again, none of those from the list would be ideal.

The Paul Milsap signing keeps throwing me off. Is Horford going to play at center or they might try Milsap at SF? I am so confuse on what Ferry is doing.
