wolvetigers
You do realize why he did it right? A max contract will be worth more once the new TV deal comes into play and it forces the ownership in Cleveland to continue to enhance the roster...Genius business move by Lebron http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11207703/lebron-james-deal-cleveland-cavaliers-2-years-421-million

You truly don't understand the concept of winning or the business side of basketball. I'm not the biggest Lebron fan, but he gave everything to that organization, but he just wanted to play with his good friends in Miami. Us everyday people make these decisions all the time when we leave a job for a new job. Sure the old job was great, but the growth opportunity in the new job is better so we switch jobs...no different except our paychecks are not 8 digits long. Now of course we wont make any press conferences about leaving, but he learned from that....
gsuteke
The Cavs work for Lebron now not the other way around like it was 5 years ago. Smart move by Lebron. If he tears up his knee like Rose did he'll rehab and sign for the max the next year too.
