Still not seeing why some don't think Ferry has changed things for the better.   Can't imagine we placed anyone in these categories in years past.  Certainly not coaching.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

NBA.com conducted its annual survey of league general managers and Hawks starting shooting guard Kyle Korver was recognized in several categories.

Korver ranked second, behind the Warriors Stephen Curry, as the best pure shooter in the league. Curry got 60.7 percent of the vote and Korver finished with 28.8 percent. They were the clear leaders with Ray Allen, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson also receiving votes.

Korver was also recognized in two other categories. He was ranked No. 1 in moving without the ball with 53.6 percent of the vote. He easily outdistanced the second-place vote getter J.J. Redick (10.7). Korver also tied for third as the best role player with 7.4 percent of the vote, trailing a tie for first between Boris Diaw and Kenneth Faried.

Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer received votes in the category of best in-game adjustments. His mentor Gregg Popovich (46.4 percent) and Rick Carlisle (42.9 percent) were the clear leaders.

Assistant coach Kenny Atkinson received votes in the best assistant coach category.

The general managers only gave the Hawks a 7.4 percent chance to win the Southeast division behind the Wizards (59.3) and the Heat (29.6).

Here is the link to the complete survey, which predicts the Spurs will win the NBA title.
