Trial date set for Thabo and Pero

Hawks players Pero Antić and Thabo Sefolsha have a trial date of Sept. 9 in New York for the misdemeanor charges stemming from an arrest outside a nightclub in the city in April.

The trial date was set in a hearing in New York City Criminal Court on Tuesday.

Both players were charged with obstructing governmental administration. Antić also was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of second-degree harassment. Sefolosha also was charged with one count of resisting arrest and one count of disorderly conduct. The players have remained steadfast in their innocence.
