Forget about your favorite to draft for a second. I was reading some trade proposals in the trade thread and it got me thinking.

 

You could trade Scott and Schröder and in return get Kaminsky and Oubre, are you a better team next year?

I don't think so. At all. You can hardly expect one rookie to come in and be an asset in his first season, let alone two. Long-term, perhaps it works, but not anything you should count on in the short term.
