Hendu is still on the IL and probably CC would go on it, either that or we would then cut JV. This would get rid of our JV problem and would bring in some players who actually know how to fundamentally play basketball (both offense and defense) and with Howard being such a good rebounder for a SG it makes us a better all around rebounding team as well. We will likely still have a high lotto pick to go after a big man in the draft and possibly use our MCE on a guy next year.

What do you guys think, would these trades improve?

Sorry, but we need better athletes in return. If we trade Brandons contract it has to be better than Brent Barry. We need young players but I couldn't make those deals.

the second trade i'd do in a heartbeat....

BUT the second trade..man that's not even close IMHO.. we're giving up Terry and Brandon's cap releif for disappointing James and an aging Barry. Barry hasn't done much as of late. Terry is much more valuable than Barry and the cap releif is much more valuable than James.

Yeah the second trade is great. Howard would be great for us, but i doubt dallas would deal him. The first trade though I hate. Brent Barry has not done much at all this year and the whole point to get him would be to put him with JT. Jerome James is simply a waste of space. Plus we lose the reason why we traded Big Dog which would suck. That won't help us this year, but in 05 it could help us land some big time free agents

Yeah you guys are right that we dont get enough for JT......so maybe we give them Dion instead of JT? The problem with trading JT is only being able to take back half of the salary that we trade away, which pretty much means he would have to be moved with a big contract, like Brandons, in order to even trade him at all to any team that isnt well under the cap.
