I think we could have gotten more but I think the goal was to open up cap space which this trade did

This goal changes day by day.  8 Million is not that much in this offseason.   It was a value contract.   The original goal was to get a higher draft pick.  Then it was to use the 2 draft picks to get higher in the lottery.  Now, It's to open up capspace.  At this rate by Next week, it will be to get the average age of the team down.
