Dansby Swanson ended the game with a defensive gem when he dove into the outfield grass to snare A.J. Pollock's two-out RBI single. He then fired to the plate to retire Nick Ahmed, who was attempting to score the tying run from second base. The Braves moved 3 1/2 games in front of the second-place Phillies.
