Atlanta jumped on the board early, taking advantage of three first-inning walks. Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ender Inciarte scored in each of the first two innings. Jake Arrieta struggled through two innings, his shortest career start, as Mike Foltynewicz dazzled with six no-hit frames. The Braves starter exited in the eighth, when the Phillies put together a three-run rally. Jonny Venters worked out of the jam, and Arodys Vizcaino slammed the door with a perfect ninth.
