I was afraid the team would have trouble getting to and converting at the line without Trae usually making up the bulk of the production leading to an excellent FT attempt and conversion rate.  35-42 in two games, I’ll take it.  Nate clearly focused on it the second half of the Bucks game.  Moving the ball side to side, creating mismatches and poor positioning gave the team a shot in the arm.  Nothing better than scoring with the clock off when you’re down.

#18 on your list is the biggest to me.  Nate clearly knows exactly what he’s doing on three point coverages.  He mixes it up to keep the opposition guessing.  Sometimes he allows low percentage shooters to shoot.  Sometimes it’s an all out blitz above the arc to get someone to pass out.  But rarely have we seen fouls on three point shots under Nate.  There must be a fine or something. The perimeter defense has stepped up big time because I can’t recall seeing Clint out there too often, Nate has made it clear he wants his Bigs manning the paint almost exclusively.

Also the guards have done a good job at helping the Bigs to a 4th ranked offensive rebound rate.  That’s huge when you have shooters with the movement skills to find open spaces and shot confidence of Lou, Kevin, and Bogi to let that thang fly.  All 3 are in a groove to where you know it’s bottoms soon as it leaves their hands.
