NBA announces no taxes for the next season

I'm no CBA expert, but I took it as meaning one of two things. That a) That the luxury tax will not be in effect next year because all of the teams were able to 'behave' themselves monetarily(?)...Or that, b) Since the league collectively stayed within the league max for salaries, that no teams will have to pay the luxury tax next year. Either way the set salary cap will go from around 42 million down to about 40 million. I think the bigger statement here is that with the CBA in place, teams are staying relatively competative while remaining fiscally responsible.

So, do you think this will mean more teams will use thier MCE since they don't have to worry about the luxury tax?

I would love for Atlanta to use ours on a guy like Keon Clark.

I would love to get Clark and then trade

Nazr/Davis for Miller/Declerq with orlando.
