That a) That the luxury tax will not be in effect next year because all of the teams were able to 'behave' themselves monetarily(?)...Or that, b) Since the league collectively stayed within the league max for salaries, that no teams will have to pay the luxury tax next year. Either way the set salary cap will go from around 42 million down to about 40 million. I think the bigger statement here is that with the CBA in place, teams are staying relatively competative while remaining fiscally responsible. I would love for Atlanta to use ours on a guy like Keon Clark. I would love to get Clark and then trade Nazr/Davis for Miller/Declerq with orlando.
