Kobe most defently will be a Laker for along time, if they offer him that deal.

That is horrible news for teams like the Clippers & Suns.

Kobe will also be given ownership of the team, full

responsibility as the G.M. so that he can pick and

choose who he wants on the team, hire his own coach

and hope that the jury finds him, "Not guilty!"

the figures we see and hear being tossed about, after

coming in as the second best team in the N.B.A. then

we must ask, what are all the players on the Pistons

worth? It has to be more, since, after all, they beat

these guys soundly.

It is not a given that Kobe will resign with the Lakers. The Lakers have to trade Shaq first before Kobe resigns. I doubt that Shaq is traded due to his contract. This creates a quandry for Kobe.

The first team I see in line for Shaq would be the Mavs.

The second team would be someone like the Nuggets.(But I doubt that)

Shaq wants a 2 year extension around 70-80 million, and that is insane.

yep, it's one or the other, the line in the sand now exists....

The Mavs would be very, very intersting...and they're one of the few teams with the contracts/personnell to get it done. Shaq, Dirk, Nash...man, they dont' need anyone else.

If the lakers sign him for that amount, no more rings for showtime u.s.a. until he retires. There will be very little to pay anyone else.
