Curry in a Hawks jersey??

I was digging around in my old Hawks photos and such and ran across this from the pre-draft workouts when I was really hoping we would land Curry.

That has to be a old photo of when Curry was fresh out of highschool. I can't remember whether Curry worked out for the Hawks or not before the draft in 2001. His face even looks younger in that pic.

Hey it does give me hope......I remember at the time he was pretty excited about working out for us and until he is signed by someone else I will still hold out hope that we can land him.

*Oh and yeah that picture is from the pre-draft workouts the year that he came out.

IIRC, Curry did a pre draft workout for us with Diop. It seems like someone who saw that workout thought that Diop looked more NBA ready than did Curry. Keep in mind this was when they were both fresh out of high school.
