This is Al's team. Sap just goes out and plays, he never talks. Talented and does what he's told. Jet is in that same mold. Great pieces, but not leaders. Love Kyle, and he talks, but he's limited. It's Horf, I hope he stays healthy.

While Nique is my favorite Hawk of all time, and the fact TBS had all their games growing up.... On TV, obviously... Duh. He was kinda selfish. Nique wanted his... Whatever. Worthy fit better better, especially with Magic.

I understand your point... But I think drafting Payne was because he was the best/most potential player there at our spot. Paul came to Atlanta for nothing... Played his ass off. Just cuz we drafted a non proven rookie doesn't mean we should not think about re-signing Sap.

I don't totally understand all the "trading Sap" chatter everywhere. He was an all star and a quality guy. Is it because his deal is up? Or Payne? Ii dunno... He's a lunch pail guy, and I'd like DF to extended him.

This is a tentative schedule. It doesn't mean squat. They'll adjust accordingly depending on records, standings, injuries. LeBron tweaks his knee, out for a month... The Cavs won't be on 25 times.

I don't mind some early games on the road. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Every player is a little rusty, we could steal a couple.

This is exactly right. It's all about money and ratings. Does the casual NBA fan bored on a Tuesday night wanna watch DMC or LeBron? Or Horf over Blake Griffin? I honestly could care less, I get the league pass.... And we never win on national TV anyway.

Very valid points. But, the game has evolved. It's more about spreading the floor, shooting and athletic players that can get to rim. Getting points from a player"posting on the block" will get points now and then, but not it used to. If I was a coach back in the day, had a Ewing, Robinson, Hakeem, Shaq... That's my only play. Lol Now we have the second best player, Seven feet tall! Durant one of the best. 3 pt shooters... Can you imagine Deke doing that?? Haha

I'm a little concerned. Teams have some good players, getting better, improving. Two years ago I would have laughed at the thought Toronto or Washington would be better than us, or Charlotte, for that matter. Not so sure anymore, even with a healthy Horf. I do know we're gonna be well coached... And our players are high character. It'll be interesting.

I agree, depth is important. I just would like see him get double digit minutes a game. But, he's a kid, we'll see
