Horf is one of my favorite players... He's a professional, but he's creeping on getting a little old... Especially with his injury issues. I still haven't seen him gel with Sap... I know it's early, but I have a little concern. -

Deke and Joe is a wash. When We landed Deke, centers ruled the game. He, Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson.... It was a big feather. Deke had some players around him, of course , Mookie and Smitty... Role players like Corbin. JJ went there when there was nothing. It built up eventually, but it's hard to distinguish...

Horf has had a solid career already, playing out of position the entire time. Well documented. He's has had his injuries, and I think partly because he's undersized, but working hard. He'll come around. I still believe it's a work in progress with he and Sap getting that cohesion... -
The only thing, that bugs me, even after a win... I don't see any chemistry with Horf and Sap. Al had 8 points. They're too much alike. It's not gelling yet. Sap had 30, don't get me wrong... But they're both all-stars, Bud has to figure a way to get them both involved.

Melo is one of the best shooters in the league. And he gets the oppositions best defensive player every game. He's good. That said, he chose the money... Okay... I don't blame him. And he's home. I don't blame that either. But he obviously doesn't care about a ring. Phil might build something, but Melo will be way past his prime. It's gonna take Derek Fisher two years to even figure out how to coach.

I wouldn't worry too much about Sap. It's gonna take some time to figure out how he and Horf to co-exist. Good problem to have... But they haven't played much together. Is Jenkins still on The team????

I agree. It's nice to see Dennis playing and impacting the game, but JT still has the keys to the car. 82 games, you'll have bad nights.

Yeah! I was reading a recap on ESPN... Described a "raucous sold out crowd".... I know it's the home opener.... But I have never described heard or read described like that. Oh, and our new court is fu@king awesome!
