Didn't Kobe get suspended a couple of years ago for "unintentionally" hitting someone (Ginobili?) in the face after a shot? Of course, Kobe was a repeat offender and his actions are magnified 100x more than Josh's.

Bob and Nique will still be calling the game on Sportsouth. Like Bob and Smitty did last year during the playoffs.

I think people are overblowing this a little bit. It's too soon to panic. He had a great first half against Memphis and maybe his conditioning hurt him in his first game back. He had a great first half against New York and the same thing happened in the second half. Nobody played real well on the Texas trip and he had a 15/7 night against Miami. The three point shooting is definitely a problem, but hopefully it's just him being a little cautious with that ankle. And if it is hopefully he can break out of it soon. Preferably tonight. You also have to remember he started out in a funk last year.

The "move around until someone gets open from deep" offense is struggling again tonight. What a shocker.

I didn't hear his interview, but I promise you Josh Smith would be terrified of that 3pt line if he played under a guy like Pop. And it really is that simple. That's why it's so unbelievably dumb that it's still happening.

A good coach doesn't have to pull his players in the middle of the game for playing stupid. That's what all that work they do outside of the games is for.

Do you think coaches like Popavich, Jackson, and Sloan would allow games like this to happen even half as often as they happen under Woodson? This isn't anything new for the Hawks. And it's not just Josh Smith.

I'm not giving Woodson credit for the hot 3pt shooting, but that shooting was making his "offense" look much better than it actually is. When that shooting isn't there the offense is embarrassingly bad.

The problem is that this should have been taken care of a long, long time ago.

The Hawks are the dumbest team in the league no question. Starts with the coach. This is the first time this year I got that hatred in my heart for the man, but hot 3pt shooting isn't covering for him anymore. Surely there's a coach out there that can actually have some control over his players and/or isn't a moron.

Yeah, that chat was a joke tonight. (I guess it's like that every night) But I promise you the Hawks get up more for Houston/Dallas/San Antonio than they do for the Knicks.

I promise you didn't miss anything. I'm not sure if a point was scored in the last 55 seconds, just terrible offense. The Knicks had the worst final possession in NBA history.

Has there been a bigger shot in Hawks history? It wasn't a buzzer beater or anything, but just the situation and reaction was unbelievable. I have never been so excited after a shot in my life. Anything sports related for that matter. But I'm only 19 so don't shoot me. I was only 9 or 10 when Mort hit the NFCCG winner.

Well, it's a joke, but earlier in the show Kenny was talking about how the Spurs "sweat" on people with their defense and for some reason he rubbed Chuck while he was saying this. Chuck then said "Kenny, you keep doing this I'm going to have to give you my room key." Then later Chuck was talking about how TO (who was at the Dallas game) wears small shirts to make himself look bigger and Kenny said, "TO doesn't need to wear a small shirt to make his body look good" (something like that) and Chuck asked if he wanted TO's room key. Then they started cracking up and continued harping on it for the rest of the night. You'd have to hear it for yourself for it to be funny.

I haven't watched a lot of TNT this year, but Kenny coming out of the closet on national television was pretty funny. And I have seen Eric Snow on NBATV, he's kind of a jerk to the other guy, but he knows his stuff.

I hate it when shows like this walk through plays. It's always so awkward and boring.

The Hawks have been in a lot of those Tuesday polls but they aren't going to be winning any unless they're playing the Lakers or Toronto. Maybe Boston. We do actually play the Lakers on a Tuesday in February. We play Phoenix on a Tuesday in January, that game may have a chance. The games are on NBA TV, though, so it's not really a big deal unless you live outside of Georgia and don't have league pass.

I think a third of China is named Ming so not much of a coincidence. Also, isn't "China man" frowned upon?
