Solo is much more athletic, but he is not as powerful or as skilled. Don't let Zaza occasionally playing like he's Dwyane Wade fool you, he does have some skill.

Did you really just bump a thread from over 4 months ago saying, "I don't know if you guys realize, but...?" Plus that game against Golden State is questionable.

I have never seen a decent argument for why Woodson is a good coach.

He didn't lose that game. If you're going to put that game on someone, put it on Woodson. We could have (and should have) won that game even with Flip being terrible, but a game like OKC we would have had no chance at winning if he didn't come in a save us. Woodson just needs to become a coach and control Flip when he's having one of those bad days.

You have to take the bad with the good. I don't think you can really say he has cost us a game this year, but you can say he has won a game for us.

You definitely have to question why Zaza sat out the entire 4th and why Bibby took only one or two shots over a ~16 minute stretch in the 2nd half. He scored 20 early in the 3rd and then disappeared until late in the 4th.

Just about all decent teams have someone who can score in the paint. You don't need someone with a back to the basket game to score in the paint. Pick and roll is something that we should be using a lot more. Getting to the line is even better than scoring in the paint.

Point is you can't be one dimensional.

Being empty is the identity. It's a decent 4th quarter crowd, though. Game 6 against Boston last year was one of the best crowds I have ever been apart of. Awesome atmosphere.

We wouldn't have made the playoffs if Wright wasn't traded.

We clearly need both, but Joe is without question the most important player on the team. He's the only player who can always find a way to score. Defenses focus on him which allows guys to get a lot of open looks.

The Hawks won 37 games last year without the three's. There's no reason to say they can't stay over 40% for the year. Adding Bibby for a whole season, adding Mo, adding Flip who can have hot streaks, and now Marvin with his new range they're clearly a much better 3pt shooting team. Smith may have even improved. Our achilles heel is on defense. We can't stop huge centers. We can't stop quick guards. We can't stop superstars who live at the FT line. That's what killed us down the stretch last night. Every time we scored on offense we'd just foul on the other end.

Why do people feed the trolls? The Hawks could win out and this kid would still complain. Just let him be.

Solo is only playing decent minutes because Josh is out.

It's hard for me to say what would satisfy me. For instance, if you told me we would lose a close to Boston last night I would be fine. If you told me we lost after having a 16 point lead and having a lead with 7 seconds left, I wouldn't be quite as fine with it...But 5-1 over this stretch is realistic, 6-0 is definitely possible, 4-2 wouldn't be terrible, 3-3 would disappoint me.

Nice for you to be honest about Marvin for once. I doubted his ability to shoot the three myself, but by divine intervention or something he has been damn near automatic. I think he may have more made 3's in these first six games than he even attempted all last year. It blows my mind how someone can make such a leap over one off season. Hopefully it's no fluke and he keeps shooting with confidence.

All I ask is that they don't get blown out and they don't blow a lead late.

Remember last year when Smith started guarding Z and just dominated him? I think long athletic guys do a good job of neutralizing him. I hope when we play them 10 days or so Smith is back. If nothing more I'd like to see Solo get a shot at Z.
