  1. Since he relies on speed and agility wouldn't it be MORE true for Speedy? He can't fall back on a jump shot and he's too small/weak to be an effective defender without those assets.
  2. Being healthy is only half of the battle, who knows where his skill and athleticism are at. If he's "healthy" but can't play at a high level then he isn't much use.
  3. It sure would be nice if a small miracle occured and Speedy could contribute off of the bench like he did with New Orleans, but I doubt he can stay healthy and be more effective than Law and Flip.
  4. Marvin is going to look even more silly stumbling and fumbling around the court with all those tats.
  5. Well it's not like this is just potential. They have been good, they just need to all be on the field together.
  6. The OL was good last year and they'd be better this year if not for Sturdivant going down. I don't think a lot of people realize just how good and important he was. Not only was he the LT, but now with him gone the entire OL has to be shuffled. The OL didn't play terrible either way. Definitely not a liability. Jones actually held his own against "Mt. Cody." The same thing goes for Jeff Owens. He's a monster in the middle of the DL and losing him was just has impactful. Next year barring more major injuries the OL should be very good. Don't forget how young they are.
  7. Bama was much more prepared tonight and deserved the win, but Georgia shot themselves in the foot multiple times in the first half. Oh well, a loss is better sooner rather than later.
  8. I doubt there is a team in the country with better depth than Georga. Even after losing their best defensive and offense linemen.
  9. You do realize Cromartie was taken in the 1st round and Williams was taken in the 2nd, right? Granted Williams was a huge bust, but it's not because of how good Cromartie is.
  10. Alabama's offense was dominated by Tulane. Tulane isn't terrible, but they're no Georgia.
  11. The overall ratings aren't bad, but several of the individual ratings are terrible.
  12. I don't know how much he can help, but he definitely can't hurt.
  13. As a Georgia fan I'm just worried about our OL. If they play well Georgia will win no problem.
  14. Steven Jackson has lost some of his luster with the rapid fall of the Rams, but put him on a team like Dallas and I bet his numbers would shoot right back up.
  15. The only thing Richardson could really contribute is shooting and now that we have Evans that extra shooting isn't as important.
  16. You can't really say Marvin deserves to be ranked higher. Everyone 1-18 except maybe Kirilenko should be ahead of him. Kirilenko doesn't look like he wants to play basketball anymore. And Maggette is overrated.
  17. I didn't say he should be locked up, I'm just saying if I had to choose between a DUI or a dog fighter I'd rather have the DUI behind bars.
  18. Tony Delk? Hasn't he always been much more of a shooter than a distributor?
  19. Whitlock isn't always bad, but I'm surprised he actually has fans.
  20. Milloy will get a slap on the wrist compared to what happened to Vick, but when you really think about it, who would you rather have behind bars? I have lost a friend that was hit by a drunk driver and I also know a girl who was driving drunk and hit a tree. She went from a energetic, athletic and charismatic girl to needing constant assistance for the rest of her life. Drunk driving ruins more lives in a month than dog fighting as ever ruined. People brush it off, but drunk driving needs to become something like taking a gun to school. Something no one would think of doing unless they have bad intentions.
  21. This year has been as good as Milloy has looked in a while, what a shame.
  22. Too many open receivers and just a terrible first half for Ryan. Hopefully we never see Ryan tossing those weak hail mary type passes down field anymore. We can be a successful offense without those. Also that 3rd and 17 run by Dunn was inexcusable. Neither Brooking nor Anderson need to be starting. Impressed by Babineaux, Douglas and Robinson. Falcons were really lucky today with some foul calls and retarded plays by Tampa's defense, it's unfortunate we could never take advantage. But I didn't expect to beat Tampa in Tampa anyway. We should definitely beat KC. Um...I think that's it.
  23. Saints run defense was middle of the pack last year. They got Vilma but lost Thomas so they'll probably be worse this year. Too early to tell.
  24. Tampa's OL was solid last year and I don't think they'll be much worse this year. New Orleans got a couple of sacks last week (not necessarily the OL's fault), but Tampa rushed for 146 yards at a 7.3 clip. Not a single tackle for a loss. The Detroit OL is a lot worse.
