  1. I'd prefer it if neither had 125 attempts, but I'd put my money on Smith.
  2. My thoughts exactly. If this drill frustrates him enough to give up then I'm thinking he'll never be a reliable 3 point shooter. Gilbert Arenas made like 75/100 one-handed 3's in a competition for $20,000. With a crowd and everything. They were from the college 3pt line, but still, 75/100 with one hand. I can't imagine any halfway decent 3pt shooter needing more than 2 tries for this drill.
  3. One thing I have noticed about Horford is that he's really predictable. Seems he gets blocked or his shot altered a lot as a result. Predictability is ok if you have a dominant move, but he doesn't have that. He needs to mix it up and work quicker.
  4. Most dominating first half I have ever seen. The Raiders were the first team to have negative yards at the half since 1992.
  5. I love Josh Smith, but he's no Elton Brand. A healthy EB anyway. Philly definitely got the right guy if he can play 70+ games.
  6. One thing Phillips Arena has had over the Georgia Dome and Turner Field these last several years is entertainment other than the actual game. The kiss cam is usually hilarious as well as the dancing. All you get at a Braves game is stupid clips on the big screen and a cartoon race between Home Depot tools. Falcons games are even lamer. Maybe that's how it is for all the cities.
  7. Florida was definitely assisted by Georgia and the refs, but the better team won today. Florida is really good.
  8. "Hawks power forward Josh Smith could be standing there for the opening tip against Al Horford, instead of trying to tap the ball to him." What a terrible sight that would be.

Where do you get your stats?
  10. And for something that makes you say "WTF?" http://www.gatorswearjeanshorts.net/blog/2...last-night.html
  11. I feel differently about the game every day. Today I'm feeling pretty good about Georgia. Scott gave us problems last week, but he's more of a power back than Florida's RBs. I think we handle speed better. Florida also has a weaker OL. Hopefully Ellerbe is effective tomorrow and not just out there hurting because we're going to need him. More than the defense, this game comes down to Stafford and Moreno. If Moreno has another spectacular day I like our chances, if they gear up to slow Moreno down I trust Stafford to find Green, MoMass, and Moore all day. Florida has a more explosive offense, but when push comes to shove I'll take our balance and ability to grind it out with Moreno every time.
  12. Not sure how you can complain after last night. If our front court plays that well every game we're going to be in great shape.
  13. BK didn't have a choice in the matter, but he would have taken Oden in a second just like everyone else. It's one thing to question Oden's durability, but Oden will be a defensive monster if he ever stays healthy.
  14. These call out threads are LAME. Especially ones acting like you're some crazy maverick defending the fan favorite.
  15. Well, I guess I dislike him as much as any reasonable person can.
  16. He's an awesome player, but those helmet hits are going to come back and bite him eventually.
  17. No one dislikes Woodson as a coach more than I do, but I'll be the first to give him props for utilizing his bench.

His 3 inch vertical doesn't help.

I'm surprised Marvin dunked more than Horford. Also surprised Joe and Zaza had as many as they did. I can recall like three dunks between the two of them.
  20. If Chicago won they would have stolen the win, we just took back what was ours. Not much to say about today. The team played poorly for most of the game. Sucks we were in the situation we were in with that punt. Just another example of Jennings being worthless. Don't charge the ball if you aren't going to catch it. He was extremely fortunate the ball didn't actually hit him.
  21. Nice pictures. That's very cool. If not for the Georgia game I would have been there for sure. Law looked like something was about to go down in one of those pictures.
  22. Jeff Fisher gets the most out of his players. That defense is too sick. Even losing their "franchise QB" the team hasn't missed a beat. They have even played better. I'm not ready to call Mike Smith the best, but he looks like he could be in this discussion before long. Coach of the year is a two man race between Smith and Fisher.
