As happy as it makes me for Horford, it's sad that our most poised player is a rookie. If we didn't have him out there tonight it would have been a 60 point loss.

I'm 18 years old, born and raised just outside of Atlanta. (Douglasville) I honestly have always been a Braves/Falcons fan (also an insane UGA fan), but I became a big Hawks fan 4 or 5 years ago. I was never really interested in the NBA, not sure why I suddenly became a huge fan. Especially considering how terrible the Hawks were. I like going to games at Philips more than the Ted and the Dome now.

Playoffs Guaranteed! What a joke that season was. You can't really compare the two. Completely different teams and they weren't playing during the most dominant West season ever. 7 or 8 teams will win 50 in the West this year. This team is underacheiving, but we didn't get Bibby until after the All Star break. If we had him all season I'm sure we'd be at least .500.

ATH and PTI are awesome shows.

They showed Detroit massacre Orlando all four games on national TV. Also Detroit vs. Milwaukee the year before last. It'll be nice to see the Hawks on national TV even if we're getting destroyed.

That one play though cancels out anything he did good in that game. Sometimes Zaza blacks out for a second and thinks he's Dirk.

How many teams in NCAA history have been able to win convincingly every game during the tournament? The W is the only thing that matters.

I hate injuries, but I'm not going to shed any tears if Harris doesn't play. He scares me more than anyone on their team.

Isn't the tie breaker conference record? They have a 2.5 game lead on us as far as that goes. Tomorrow night will be the first playoff type game the Hawks have had in a long, long time. Can't wait. Part of me wishes the Nets still had Kidd, though. I'm nervous about Harris.

Kind of random, but does anyone have a clip of that dunk they always show at the end of the Hawks Live commercial? It was during the first Minnesota game that wasn't televised. Horford goes off the backboard (not sure if it was intentional or not) and Smith finishes with a ridiculous slam. From the quick clip on the commercial you'd think it would be the dunk of the year but I have never seen it anywhere else.

If the Hawks take care of business they WILL get that 8th seed. It's no use watching Philly or Washington, at this point our only hope is the 8th seed.

Smith had a similar block recently that I thought was better but I can't for the life of me remember when it was. Pretty much the same block but beastlier.

I'll never understand why people ignore facts and logic to hate on a player of their team. Unless you're actually a Hornets fan in which case that would explain a lot.
