  1. Why would anyone be positive? They didn't play well in their two wins and then play like this against this team that doesn't even want to be in the playoffs.
  2. Probably not going to see 80 against the Nets. Team deserves every ounce of disrespect they get, quite frankly.
  3. Awesome. Now let's sign him to a lifetime contract.
  4. I want the Wizards because Wittman is inarguably the worst coach in the playoffs.
  5. Kerr deserves a ton of credit. They've been a historically great team through the regular season... Buuuuuut I don't think if you switch coaches, you'd get the same results. Bud could coach the Warriors to the top seed in the West, but does anyone have Kerr getting us to 60 wins?
  6. You rest starters during the regular season so they can handle a bigger workload in the playoffs. Thabo's loss hurts, but his minutes can be covered by giving Carroll, Korver, Teague, Schröder, Scott, Baze, etc., extra burn.
  7. Sure, but we can only judge him on the games he's played, and based on that the kid can play.
  8. Well, it is hard to argue with all those rings Dwight has. Oh, wait...
  9. Kelly Oubre with the 9th pick, maybe?
  10. No excuses, but this was the fifth game of a west coast road trip, missing Kyle's shooting and the space he creates, with Al unable to hit open shots, against the best team in the west who are virtually unbeatable at home with Draymond Green hitting 3s like his name is Klay Thompson. So we lose and now Dennis is a scrub compared to Leandro Barbosa?? Whaa?
  11. Dennis is special. As great as Teague has been, I see Dennis surpassing him in a couple of years. I just love the way he plays, the fearlessness, the swagger, some would say cockiness, but he never gets out of control. He just seems to get better and better each game. And only in his second year!
  12. It's immature, and I'm sure Al and Jeff will talk to him about it, but that Phoenix team likes to talk, and a little cockiness is a good trait. Also, we never looked back after that. Phoenix started to discombobulate and we rolled. So I'm conflicted.
  13. I think the beauty of this team is everyone has a high bbiq. You have to to play in this system. Sap, DMC, and Thabo are off the charts, too.
  14. Can we figure out a way to steal Stauskas so he can apprentice under Kyle please?
  15. How do you know they don't need rest? Why would you presume to know that? This isn't like a guy in your office who just got back from a two week vacation and now wants to take a personal day. This is grueling physical work. Coaches monitor players and make decisions on when to rest them now. The tough it out through injury mentality is a thing of the past with good reason. It produces bad basketball.
  16. Just healthy debate, bro. It's all good.
  17. Look, I'm disappointed they didn't win this game because we still had the three best players on the floor. Shit happens. They're human beings playing a game with a bouncing ball. Are we still in first place? Is everyone healthy? I'm over it.
  18. Every team does this now, though! You don't have to like it, but they wouldn't do it if it didn't work. And you can't say nothing matters in the regular season one day and then knock the team for trying to preserve their players for the playoffs the next.
  19. What about the Miami teams that won titles and did the same thing? What about the Celtics before them? This is strategic. We're not trying to get into the playoffs, we're trying to win a championship. The Hawks have done this all season long, mostly ending up winning. We're going to freak because they did it this time and lost? That's insane. And why shouldn't we trust Coach Bud blindly? All he's done is completely transform the franchise.
  20. The Hawks have home court advantage sewn up in the East barring an epic collapse. If they don't finish with the best record in the league, they'll have the second best. If the Hawks make it to the finals, I'm fine with having to win a game on the road in order to ensure fresh legs in the playoffs. It's the Spurs playbook. Do you think the Spurs would have 6 titles instead of 5 if they didn't do the same thing?
  21. Considering I lived through the Mike Woodson era, I'm inclined towards this position.
  22. You take a calculated risk that with an 11 game lead in the standings, you can rest some players on the back end of a back to back on the road and still compete. Sometimes you lose. Oh well. Big picture, everything's still fine.
  23. Demarre, Baze, and Dennis(!) were getting under LeBron's skin. Somebody forgot to tell them to bow down, I guess. And we get Thabo back soon. This team is built to stop teams like the Cavs. Hero ball isn't going to cut it.
  24. It'll probably go to Jamal or Lou and that's a shame because what Dennis brings off the bench is such a luxury. There's no drop off when our All Star floor general goes to the bench. How many teams can say that?
