  1. Actually, they didn't. Hakeem's a top 5 center all time. The Bulls would've taken him over Jordan at the time, too. It's been 5 years now. Get over it.
  2. I think he has a good shot at making the 2nd team and is virtually a lock for 3rd team.
  3. That should be "the Cavs drive with their heads down and initiate all contact with zero intention of actually making baskets." The Cavs get to play by a different set of rules. This isn't news anymore.
  4. I wish Jamal would've participated in the All Star break HORSE competition because the circus ish he puts up and hits could not be duplicated.
  5. Why can't Al Horford just be Al Horford, damn good basketball player?
  6. I hate the NBA superstar system, and largely because of it, I've grown to really dislike LeBron. Having said that, I would trade the entire team for LeBron, let alone Joe and LeBron. Are you kidding me?
  7. It's hard to argue that Bibby's worthless unless he's knocking down 3s.

    Jon Barry again

I'm pretty sure Jon Barry lives in Atlanta so I doubt he was taking a shot at the actual city.
  9. You've got to be kidding me at this point. Marvin scored more ppg, grabbed more rbg and shot a significantly higher percentage as a 19 year old rookie than 22 year old Terrence Williams is doing on the worst team in NBA history. But he looks much more experienced than Marvin in his first 3 years, including year 3 when he averaged 15 ppg and 6 rpg on 46% shooting? Are we just going literally on his actual looks here?
  10. Woody needs to go. This is becoming embarrassing.
  11. That blog is always hanging on Lebron and the Cav's collective sack. Who cares?
  12. Wow, it must be some kind of record for 40 wins all to come against injured teams. We're really witnessing history here!
  13. If we can't beat the Heat in a 7 game series, we're not an elite team and shouldn't bother thinking about a deep playoff run.
  14. How many teams in NBA history have 3 double-double guys on their frontline? Marvin's playing great. Everyone screams for the guy to just be more aggressive and assertive on the court, and since apparently Woody talked to him, he has been. You can't minimize the way the guy is playing by saying he hasn't done it over 82 games or dismissing the competition. If Marvin plays like this the rest of the season and into the postseason, we're a real, legit threat in the East. Put that in your excuse machine and smoke it.
  15. The Warriors are a team, like the Knicks when they had Robinson, who we are going to struggle against. Quick, attacking small guards and teams that chuck up 3s give us problems. Bibby and Crawford are just horrible perimeter defenders and our switching and help defense usually leaves somebody open for 3. Then whenever we get up, we play into their hands by going away from what's working. For example, when Joe is off and Josh is unstoppable, we should not have Joe posting up and kicking out to Josh for a wide open jumpshot, it should be the other way around.
  16. Either you think Marvin can fulfill a role this team needs or you think he's Sam Bowie Pt. 2 X 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's no middle ground at this point.
  17. Bill Russell won 5 MVP awards and I highly doubt he ever had the ball in his hands at the end many games.
  18. Maybe he saw this thread before the game and it inspired him. Let's start another one of these every day!
  19. The GS and Dal games this week made me literally sick for awhile, but I'm not going to say I'm done watching this team play for the season when I've seen them literally pack it in after suffering a run like Dallas put on them in the first half and just get blown out in years past. This team is talented enough to build large second half leads on teams like Cleveland and Dallas. The fact that they're not mature enough to close those types of teams out does not mean they're not worth watching. I really feel coaching is the #1 problem with this team. I don't know if the owners have the sack to sack Woody if this team has an uninspiring exit from the postseason, but if they do, and they tap a coach with an actual offensive philosophy, it might be the thing that gets JJ to resign and puts us on a track to do better than just make the playoffs.
