After Billups hits his second three, why not insert Mario into the game to guard Billups? Woodson has coach Billups before, everyone new it was over after he hit his second three, so common sense says put Mario in to guard Billups, and put Joe at the point. Then you go to Smoove, because he was hot the entire game.... But wait what does Woody do, he lets Billups kill us in the forth. Then he creates a play for ice cold Joe. ZaZa sucks, why even put him in the game. At least Solomon can grab a couple of rebounds..... Joe has been horrible the last ten games in the clutch.

I like Chillz, but how do you know he's a better player than West. Give Mario the same amount of playing time as Chillz then you can pass judgment. Chillz is a defensive liability; he plays defense like Marvin rebounds. Again, I say I like Chillz, but he had three years of college, and he's been in the league for four years. Chillz has not made any major improvements. Hell he hasn’t gained a pound since he entered the league. He has a nose for offensive rebounds and put backs. He runs the break like a thorough bread, but when it comes to defense, every guy he guards puts up big numbers. If we could get a legit starting NBA point guard for Childress I would trade him in a heartbeat. Players like Chillz are a dime a dozen in the NBA. However, how many NBA players apply defensive pressure with 10 seconds left, in a 25 point route. I don’t know if you notice, but Mr. West was still applying pressure with 5 seconds left last night. We are the only team in the NBA who doesn’t have a legit point guard. Our leader is Josh Smith, and I love his play, but he does not bring it every night. He still learning the nuances of the game. Joe refuses to step up as the team captain. That silent ish doesn’t work with a young team. We need a veteran point guard to run this team. Then perhaps we can package Lo wright, Lue, Shelden, and ZaZa for a legit center, and let Mr. Horford play his natural position at power forward. Then we can bring Marvin off the bench, and let Smoove play the small forward.

The Rockets maybe a bad match up, but an intelligent coach would install a zone defense..... Again I digress Woodson is horrible.

I hope Woody is show casing Lue for a potential trade, however, I digrest that would mean Woody has a lot of common sense, and with this managing group I just can't see them having any. (Common Sense that is)

I'm not calling Mario the second coming, and I don't want him to eat Chillz minutes. There are times during the games when there is no energy on the floor, or there are times when someone like Thorton from the Clippers is having a big game. During these times Mario needs to be inserted. Every time he comes in, he gives the team a lift. This guy is all over the boards, and he provides great defense.

I concur that thought; I haven't seen Mario make any key mistakes.

Marvin can't rebound a lick, but Joe continues to make supsect passes every game. That's what we call unforced turnovers.

He's tied with ZaZa....... ZaZa is the only 7 foot center in the league with no block shots......

I like Watson; I think he would be a great fit with this team. However we're still dealing with ASG and Billy Knight, so the common sense approach may no register with this group.

Bottom line people just don't like Barry. Barry witnessed the treatment of his God-father, and he witness the horrendous treatment towards other blacks in baseball. People tend to forget that Hank was hated too, and he received death threats. People take everything the press says as the gospel. Half of the journalist never played sports a day in their lives, so who are they to judge. I guess it’s easy to sit on the couch and point the finger. Innocent until proven guilty…. That line was only meant for certain people… The hatred for what you don’t understand is so blatant. It’s the same people who complain about Vick. How do you work up enough energy to hate someone that you will never meet? So if you have never met this person, how can you hate him? There has to be another source, from whence this anger originates. That source is deeply rooted embedded in your soul, and what kills me is people hate what they can’t understand, or unwillingly refuse to try to understand. But hey I live in a region where people think the rebel flag should be the state flag. I wonder do they even consider what that flags means to Black people. Oh I forgot I live in the country where know one cares about their neighbor. They only care about themselves. Before you jump on me for what I said about my country, at least I served six years for my country and fought in Dessert Storm. I’m not and instigator; I’m a participator. That’s the difference between me and you.

Great Article, I hope Marvin and Chills are following his lead. Maybe one should draft more on work ethnic, rather than just drafting on potential. You can tell the players who really care about their game, and you can tell the players who are happy just to be in the NBA, and draw a nice paycheck. You see the same type of people at the workplace every day.

I think this Yi situation will have long term adverse affects, especially in the smaller markets. I think it will have an eternal affect pertaining to the Chinese players.
