  1. Hawks probably favored because the Knicks are playing 2nd night of back to back. and Hawks rested, with Trae back
  2. Have a feeling it won't be as easy for the Knickerbockers in the paint as it was last meeting
  3. I was torn between Thanking and Laughing in reaction to that post lol .. I don't think Skal is a replacement for Graham as I've seen suggested - the Hawks need a player at each of SG/SF and PF to back up those positions or even start (in the case of one of SG/SF) while Hunter and Cam develop
  4. There was no marquee guy coming here at a position of need (C) that fit that well to the Hawks timeline were they to keep the young nucleus together. There is no way the Hawks should grade any lower than the Rockets. The Rockets were given a good grade given their situation, the Hawks were given a bad grade where the teacher deserves the F, not the student.
  5. Here is the complete article https://www.theringer.com/nba/2020/2/6/21127528/nba-trade-deadline-grades For the 4 teams involved in the mega trade : Hawks D Rockets B+ Warriors A- Wolves B
  6. Rather just have Graham. per 100 possessions better ratings on offense and defense. Statistically a wash in most categories.
  7. Kings (excluding Ded he is a special case) out, Suns out, who else?
  8. We used to be regulars in the chatroom back in the day.
  9. A wing and a frontcourt player in FAcy. PG in draft is the direction we seem to agree with. I agree about Harrell and Millsap. I am with @kg01 wanting no part of Morris twins. No thanks! As for wings, I want a 3 and D / 2 way vet guy who can still play. PG in the draft I am stuck on Halliburton, would not be disappointed with other guys but if we want a guy to develop that can play with Trae allowing Trae to go off ball and be 2nd PG I think he is the best option (6'5, 7'0 wingspan)
  10. This is a great post guy. Has aged very well. Len is gone now but one of the needs to be addressed in the offseason is a stretch big and hopefully Bruno develops consistent 3 point shooting

The saying "you can't stop/fix stupid" applies. Personal responsibility also applies when the training staff has everything needed for legal supplements. I'm sure VC discussed with JC about the issue that led to his suspension.
  12. Deke fingerwag at 1:17 love it lol.. My sister is a flight attendant on Delta and did a fingerwag at Deke when he was on a flight she worked. He loved it lol
  13. Some of the footwork on his jumpshots reminded me of Dirk . He can shoot it from the parking lot too it looks like.
  14. I agree with your assessment but I view the Skal signing as a tryout for backup PF and I also see Bruno having potential there. In FAcy there are a LOT of guys you are right and the Hawks have a lot of money to throw at the right guy if he will take it for a year. They can pretty much cherry pick, PG - I hope Tyrese Halliburton. If Hawks get a top 3 pick may even be able to trade down to get him and a future pick. PF -

Memphis is younger only looking at their roster on paper. In practice they had the luxury of playing more minutes with experienced players, until the recent trade which will change that.

Maybe this will help. Pulled from Athletic article analyzing the big 4 team trade recently
  17. When I first read that, was like damn, thats dirty, then realized it was about the game! Brandon Goodwin is vying for Jeff's spot! Look out Jeffy!
  18. I will try to watch the game on the flight. I've been waiting at the airport all day. weather problems caused delays and I couldn't get on an earlier afternoon flight standby most likely due to the earlier issues... hopefully be able to board in 10 minutes or so.
  19. I save the time and place for politics. There is a reason 'pol' it shared with polemic. It is carred down from Greco-Roman tradition. Hegelian dialectics is imposed on that tradition. It is about opposites for the public to perceive, while the elite carry on with their business regardless of what is done politically and pretend to have solutions for the arguments.
