  1. Atlanta is not 1st on that ranking, we are probably 3rd or 4th behind Utah, Grizzlies, Knicks and probably Sixers
  2. At this point and after John has rejected what everybody agree is as a fantastic offer from Hawks I am ready to listen to offers. This guy is trouble, already was this year with some issues with Trae and the difficulties to sign him to a reasonable contract is clearly a red flag. He is not a Max player. The other 2 guys we had problems to resign were Schröder and Josh Smith, both complicated characters that after the initial boom on the league quickly went down not playing to their contract levels. Well, I think John belong to this group, a guy that thinks is better than he really is and is going to be always a problem claiming a role he is not prepared to support. Long term that is a Big problem to win a Championship. I understand this is not probably a popular statement but is what I think today. Hopefully everything is solved, he signs a reasonable contract and accepts that probably he is 3rd or 4th Guy in the team, chances It happens are really low for me. I think he ends at OKC.
  3. They have around 20m$ but I don't see any pieces they have that we would like on sign and trade.
  4. I Guess now is Cooper Mays Ibi JJ Moreland?
  5. Once SA is done I guess if Collins is not taking the offer is because the offer is not there, I don’t mind what the Athletic is saying, I don’t believe a word
  6. Well, a lineup of Ball, Lavine, Derozan, Markkanen, Vucevic is good although defense is a questionmark. 2nd unit is very poor right now specially on the frontcourt. Let's see how they finish the team
  7. Wow, I thought he would stay with us.
  8. Why everybody wants to tear a team that is top 3 on the east with trades that make us worse? De Rozan for Bogi, Melo for Gallo. The only trade that make us better is to trade our depth for a true superstar, an upgrade over one player on the rotation 5, that trade is not available
  9. A 2nd unit of Wright/Huerter/Reddish/Gallo/Dieng is not a problem offensively, I think they can score easily. A lot of floor spacing and good passing.
  10. On our East competition Miami - Got better, but does it work? Starting 5: Lowry, Oladipo, Butler, Tucker, Adebayo, good defense, bad floor spacing. Bench: Nunn, Herro, Robinson, Bjelica, Dedmon. Good floor spacing, bad defense. I don’t know, the fit is still a question mark for me. Milwaukee - same, Portis and a work fill the role of Tucker. NY - they change Bullock for Fournier. Some pieces are still young, I think they will improve a little. Bulls - I like the team and fit. Ball/Lavine/Williams/Markkanen/Vucevic, bench is weak with White, Caruso, Young, Charlotte - They could be a problem. Boston, Nets, stay about the same, Boston need to find a PG. I think this 7 are the playoff teams with Atlanta. On the west I like what NO has done, don’t like Lakers squad.
  11. We would be basically a worst team. We are better with Bogi than with DeRozan so no need to additionally give Huerter
  12. I think is only the Spurs, I Guess we need to wait some days until SA make his decission. I really doubt they offer him a Max but Is might be wrong.
  13. Delon Wright will fill his role providing more defense, I don't think we can find offer him a significant role or 2/3 years of contract
  14. I like the roster we are building, we have depth and options for certain matchups. We have legit depth even beyond 10th man. Roster is really awesome. Dieng is a real good option with OO injured and injury risks on Gallo and Capela, I think he could end as a Big contributor this year. I think our rotation with min distribution when everybody is healthy (Big When) may look like this until OO comes back. Young (33)/Wright (15)/Cooper Bogi (28)/Huerter (20)/Mays Hunter (28)/Reddish (20)/Hill Collins(33)/Gallo(20)/JJ Capela(28)/Dieng(15)/OO Minutes for 3rd unir will be hard to come but we are going to have injuries. Main injury risks are - Gallo and Capela, this will open more minutes for Dieng/Jalen Johnson. - Reddish/Hunter/Bogi, this will open minutes for rookie Cooper, sliding Wright to SG and Jalen Johnson as SF.
  15. Awesome news, this is the player I wanted, Schlenck made me happy!! Dieng is a really good backup, good defensive big that can stretch the floor and can also contain big Centers. Delon Wright and Dieng are awesome moves by Schlenck, they are real contributor that add players to a deep roster, we have already 11 players that could start on any moment + 2 rookies. Best and deepest roster on the NBA
  16. Wood was also my guy last offseason, I wanted to sign him badly. This was easy to see 3 seasons ago. When he was at NO he finished really strong last 3-4 weeks, showing he was a legit big. He mad a heck of a game vs our Hawks. Next season at Detroit started slow behind Drummond and Griffin, by mid season he was the best big on the team, started at C when Drummond left and performed really well, he would have made me win my fantasy league but COVID came to ruin my season. Last off-season I was really angry when we signed Gallo instead of Wood. You already know how his season was.
  17. Wood was already playing C at Detroit for half season when Drummond left, he has always played C and PF.
  18. Thanks Supes, reading your last statement really makes me wonder who can give a max contract to Collins this season? Should we wait and match the best offer her gets as happened with Schröder or Josh Smith?
  19. The only guy that can do that is Dieng.
  20. Is clear that it could be difficult to keep our core and probably we need to make a trade for other players but the time is not now, we still have 2 seasons. Talent wise this year is probably going to be the best one, is possible that next year as well if we keep Gallo. After that we will replace some key players for other pieces but is also true that our young guys would have develop, is difficult to predict the real level of the team in 2 years. By the time Bogi, Capela and Gallo contract expires, Gallo will be a non factor, Bogi will be 32 and the only player worth resigning will be Capela. Assuming Schlenck have already plans to lock Young, Reddish, Hunter, Collins and Okongwu with Jalen Johnson and Cooper and at least other first rd pick on the roster the decision might be between Capela or Huerter. All will depend on the players we would have added through draft and FA and is very difficult to predict because when time is coming Bogi, Gallo or Capela may have been traded for other key pieces at different positions. I think Schlenck see Young, Reddish, Hunter, Collins and Okongwu as the future starting 5, the rest is dynamic and Huerter is probably he odd man out if is needed. I think next year with Reddish, Bogi and Hunter healthy his role is going to go down, he is a fantastic player but his ceiling is lower.
  21. He is basically out for the season. Can’t stay healthy
  22. I don’t think he has such talent, his athleticism is not something special.
  23. The only player worth resigning after his contract is over is probably Capela. Gallo will be finished and Bogi probably as well. Their value will be much less, probably Capela maintains it. The issue here is maintaining talent through draft to find replacements for this players, we made it great this draft, awesome!! We found Gallo replacement. Now we need to go for Capela replacement, or Okongwu replacement when he is promoted to starting role and Bogi replacement.
