  1. Shouldve called a timeout right there. Cannot let this get to 15 early
  2. Gallo saying "F all y'all haters on the 'Squawk"
  3. I for one am surprised we got 6 games. The fact that we made a TNT game is even better. Its been a while since we got one of those. The good news is, they are all at the end of March or later, which means if anything we POSSIBLY will have our guys back by then. Could be much see TV.
  4. I dont care who coaches, I just dont want to see any more minutes given to struggling players in a season that they told us everyone would have to "earn it". Whoever starts, shouldn't automatically have the right to finish just because they started. The pre planned rotations should only matter 1 time through the lineup. After that, dig in to the groups that are playing well and making an impact on the court. Kev and Cam should not be able to shoot 3-15 all game and still be on the court in crunch time with the outcome in the balance. Especially if guys on the bench are shooting well that night. 2nd gripe, don't wait until we are down double digits to call a timeout. After 2 or at the max 3 empty possessions in a row, rally the troops and get it together. Teams are allowed to flip the scoreboard on us at will with no interruption by the staff sometimes. Stop the bleeding before its too late coaches
  5. Just win baby. We need to play focused and be prepared for a scrappy, desperate opponent.
  6. I have no issue with JC right now. As a team, we still have not made it a priority to run offense for him. Clint is taking up a lot of the garbage rebounds and put backs that JC would normally collect. Yet JC is still finding ways to impact games. He is far more consistent than some of the other "core" guys. And his shooting efficiency rivals several names that we hold in high regard. Defensively, he is not done growing, but he has made big strides. If we gave him a larger role and he floundered, that would be one thing. But we have actually shrunk his role, reduced his scoring opportunities, and forced him to play more outside in, yet here we are. He is still out playing Al Horford.. (trigger) lol.
  7. Exactly, plus, considering his profile as a prospect, he is about as safe a bet as it gets when you think about a sustainable level of performance. He may never top out as the next Kawhi, but you best believe he has the fundamental skillset, physical stature, and BBIQ to be a high level, top-3 player, for a winning team as shown from his time at Virginia.
  8. Facts. And Bogi wasn't necessarily consistent yet either. He was still finding his place with us. Imagine a month from now, trying to work back in Bogi and Dre. While also trying to figure out what Dunn can give us. This team is still very far away from its peak. The question is will we find it this season before its too late
  9. I would love to have Lavine in Atlanta, even though I dont know how that would work next to Trae. But I would much rather Lavine than a guy like Huerter if I'm being honest.
  10. I just want to say that I have always been a huge fan of Lavine. I'm not caught up in the narratives against these guys. I can see very plainly that he has been on some crappy (youthful) teams throughout his career. I dont hold that against him. Make no mistake, if Zach ever got the chance to run with Lebron or Giannis, the entire perception of him would change. The guy can ball. He can shoot the lights out as well. I believe he can be much better defensively when he isn't the primary offensive driver, a la Trae.
  11. Very worried about Cam since he has regressed from probable to questionable to doubful in the matter of one day. And hasn't his Achilles been an issue previously this season. I recall him missing at least 1 game due to achilles soreness. Either way, I presume that Snell would rightfully get the start if Cam cant go tonight Also, just because Rondo is available, doesn't mean he will play. I fell for that once this season already
  12. Glad that JC isn't on the report after banging up his knee after that alley oop.
  13. There isn't and won't be one
  14. I agree, but Denver was probably the best team of these last seven, so anything is possible.
  15. That was before we beat Denver. Cleveland, Miami x2, Orlando, and OKC. We got 3 more wins out of those games IF we play like we are capable. With Boston reeling, every game is winnable. Its a matter of do we come out ready to compete or not. I would love nothing more than to head in to the break at .500. This is the stretch where we have to make up some lost ground.
  16. Lets not get our hopes up for any national tv games. We managed to fumble the plan of proving ourselves and earning respect. Sitting here looking like the same ole same ole. 4-3 16-20 at the break.
  17. Seriously what's up with Rondo? Is he a lemon or are we shutting him down ahead of the trade deadline? I've never seen a guy with no actual injury miss so many games. It would also be very nice to get an update on Bogi. Seems the focus just shifted to Hunter and they stopped providing any information about Bogi.
  18. I can stomach an off night from John. He has one every now and then. But is pretty consistent night in and out. But Kev and Cam are off way more than they are on and it is crippling our ability to play winning basketball. We have to mix it up. The starters were ass all night together. Why close the game with them (minus Clint). When we made that run, all we needed to do was insert Trae back in with the guys that were on the court. Hill, Snell, Gallo, Clint I think were the last ones out there with BG before the brought in the starters. If those guys were gassed, give them a quick breathe and run them back out one at a time. To pull off a comeback like we almost did, it wasn't going to come from the cats that were ice cold all night.
  19. Just like that, starting 5 back in. Same results as earlier. Did we not learn anything during that comeback run? Cam and Kev are too shaky man. They are just not consistent basketball players yet. Trae is already a volatile scorer in his own right. Surround him with consistent shot makers and good decision makers. Its the blind leading the blind with these guys together
  20. My gripe with Cam and Kev, is that when their shot is off, they have no business on the court together. Kev is not good enough with defense or decision making to make up for missed threes. If Kev cant hit, then Cam will never be able to make up for it with his outside shooting. You cannot have 2 shooting liabilities and two defense liabilities (Trae, Kev) next to each other. That's a recipe for disaster. Put a vet like Snell in to provide some kind of stability on the wing. Dont reward these guys just because they are starters when the other guys are the ones who are actually playing well.
  21. In the bonus. Stay aggressive down the stretch and extend the clock at the foul line
  22. Boston never ceases to amaze me. The only thing, and I mean only thing, that keeps me from outright publicly clowning those bums, is the fact that good or bad, they tend to always have our number. If that ever starts to change, Im on them like Peo on LP lol
