    Foot in my mouth, great effort in that 3rd quarter. Feed Hunter. Lets get some more from Collins. Kev, Gallo and Rondo will be huge down the stretch. I can't believe they are taking that away.

    BS game tonight. Just give us the L now and move on to the next. This team is lost without Trae on offense and Clint on defense.

    Just based on looking at that gauntlet. We NEED to win the following games: WAS, split with DAL, TOR, revenge vs CLE, Pick up at least 1 of the 3 vs BOS, split with MIA. and then beat ORL. I have SAS, Indy, DEN, NYK, OKC and BKN as toss ups that we can hopefully go 3-3 with (Knicks have our number if ya'll haven't noticed). To me, that qualifies as taking care of business and gets us to 18-18 if we lose the other games. If we can accomplish those 10 wins and still pick up maybe 2 or 3 more wins against the field along the way, we will be in great shape.

    I was thinking about this too, maybe Cam gets the starting nod the next few games for defensive purposes only against MIL, LAC, and BKN. Those teams have too much firepower to use Kev to hide Trae. If this were a playoff series I could see us implementing some zone concepts to wall off Giannis, but I don't know if we have the practice time to work that in. But a 1-3-1 with Cam-JC-Dre as the wall and Clint behind them. Trae wouldn't need to ball pressure Giannis, he could float to Jrue or DVV, Cam or Dre would always be in the area of Middleton on either side of the court, as well as able to collapse on Giannis if he drives. Clint there to meet him at the rim.

    Remember, Hill said it over the offseason, if you can finish top 10 in both offense and defense, then you really have a chance to do something in the postseason. Im glad the defense has improved, thanks largely to our rebounding efforts. We must keep that going. Now, as we get players back and build chemistry and Trae leaves his slump behind, hopefully our offense starts to click the way we had all hoped it would. Top 10 is the goal on both ends of the court, we can do it.

    It's Giannis, you don't actually have to guard him on the perimeter. You give him the 3 point shot all day versus letting him get in to the paint and get And 1's.

    I know this sounds crazy but if that's the case I would just cross match and let JC guard Lopez on the outside and Capela use his length and strength to match up with Giannis.

    Bucks are coming off of a tough, ego-bruising loss to Lakers and are going to be playing hard Sunday. They will not let Trae roam free, Jrue is a smart defender and will keep him off balanced. But Bud will likely trap often. We will have to help him out to keep the offense flowing. The key is Giannis. Clint/JC will have their work cut out keeping him out of the paint. With little to no practice time ahead of the game, and them coming off two days rest, I see them being more prepared out of the gates and jumping on us early, with a heavy dose of 34. We need big games from our role players. Gallo, Dre, Kev need to go off.

    Props to JC man. After all the offseason back and forth you see that he can certainly help a winning team. He still has those stat stuffing games in his bag, but he also can play as a role player to free up his teammates. His defense has gotten better right before our eyes, even from game 1 this season to now. Clint and he are finding an amazing rhythm with each other. I love our dominance on the glass thanks to our twin towers leading the way. JC is a pros pro, just cant say enough about him.

    Bruh, Clint is locked all the way in right now. I haven't seen center play like this in Atlanta since Deke.

    For the first time all season on defense a team ran 3 straight DHO screens against us and NOBODY (cough, Trae, cough) got stuck on a single one of them. I thought we were the only team that allowed defenses to run clean around our screens lol Rondo, Hill and Gallo were all involved in the action. Defended it perfectly and led to a tough shot and miss for Minny.

    Dang LP, if you insist on Hill playing PF could you at least put him next to Clint and not JC? Why go super small if you dont have to.

    This is huge, and the right call honestly. Cam is too up and down right now. Kev has in fact earned his starting spot back. Cam has to be more consistent because he is a difference maker for us when he is. SG is such a revolving door for us. Let's see how long Kev can keep the job.

    Just realized it's championship Sunday in the NFL. Nobody will be tuning in for us.

    At this point I just assume everyone is out if they are on the report, the way we handle injuries. I'll take being pleasantly surprised if they play vs. the confusion and disappointment. Even when they are listed as available, I dont hold my breath expecting meaningful minutes. Since we traded for Clint last year, and subsequent additions, its been one setback, precautionary procedure, minor soreness that keeps guys benched for weeks, after another. I cant do it anymore. I dont have the patience to keep being let down. I just pretend they dont exist anymore lol

    God this team is going to look totally different when we get some of those guys back. Dunn and Gallo, hopefully Bogi... that's a lot of talent not available.

    At 6-10, Gallo is going to eat a lot of minutes as a backup big. Him next to JC, or him next Clint, both would be miles better than 6-6 Hill trying to bang.
