  1. Or sooner. One or more of those guys will jump ship within the next 3 years
  2. .... about that part. The way it's going, names will go on the injury report as soon as they come off of it.
  3. If OO is 6-8, then Hunter is 6-7. There are enough places that list OO at 6-9 that we don't need to shave an inch off to prove our points. Let it be known, he is 6-9 with a 7-2 wingspan.
  4. We literally have no idea how LP is going to use Okongwu. The kid hasn't even touched the floor for us yet. One thing is for sure, he is a big man. Period. Until Gallo comes back, your bench depth is limited at PF, so any combination of Bruno, Solo, and OO will be used to fill in at the 4. Let's see how things play out first now that we have our lottery pick big man back in the mix.
  5. Anyone want to talk about how super sized Cleveland is now? Drummond, Love, McGee, Allen, Nance Jr
  6. Prince alone is still twice the player as Dante Exum lol It's weird to me because Houston could have used both Allen and Prince on their roster ahead of Exum. They are loaded with guys 6-5 and under, but barely have any players who contribute that are 6-6 and up: Wood , Cousins. End of list Their forwards are 6-5 Tucker, 6-4 Jasean Tate, 6-5 David Nwaba, 6-5 Sterling Brown. They have Kenyon Martin Jr (barely plays) and Danuel House (out for Covid) both at 6-6. That' s it, thats all the size they have. So instead of adding a true big in Allen and a combo forward in Prince who could legit bolster their frontcourt depth, they opt for Exum who will give them another body at their deepest positions lol Not to mention acquiring 6-4 Dipo for 6-6 Lavert but that makes more sense to me because Dipo is just a better player on both ends when healthy
  7. Houston 7 first round picks that will likely be in the high 20's . Hopefully they flip some of those. When will Brooklyn learn about trading away their future? When is the last time they kept and made a pick in the first round? Lol
  8. Cavs won this deal. How do they get 2 really good younger players and a 2nd for Exum and a draft pick? Lol
  9. Either scenario sucks for us. a. Sixers or Nets would clearly be heavy favorites in the East. b. Trae drops down another spot as far as Eastern conference guards go.
  10. Agreed. Open shots are there, we have to hit them. Shooters have to knock down shots.
  11. Trae refusing to force JC the ball on his rim rolls, unlike the lobs in traffic he was throwing Capela, hmmm lol
  12. I wanted him after hearing how low-key Kentucky players morph in the NBA
  13. Capela missing hella bunnies tonight.
  14. I have no clue what the actual score is anymore.... It's all over the place tonight lol
  15. And he seems way more locked in defensively when his offense is going.
  16. Cam at the point defensively is a major X factor for us, especially when his shot is falling on offense (if that makes sense). Until Rondo or Dunn come back, Cam and BG are the only guys that need to defend opposing PGs. Our defense looks night and day with ball pressure.
  17. A losing record in the mean time for sure. I have a hard time believing this team WHEN HEALTHY cant just accidentally win games. Rondo, Dunn, Gallinari, Bogi, Snell, Okungwu? Thats a good lineup for any team and that would just be our main bench. We are running out the 2019 Hawks roster at the moment, with only Dre looking like he got better. Cam, JC, Kev, and Capela each looking about the same or as expected. And Trae, our best player, looking much worse. We are in trouble if we cant get some depth back.
  18. Not with the way we handle injuries, its almost always twice as long as whatever the normal time frame should be.
  19. So nothing this week except practice, and maybe a cameo appearance next week sometime, no real minutes until the week after that. Just trying to translate Hawks injury talk.
  20. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30640159/atlanta-hawks-forward-danilo-gallinari-least-2-weeks-ankle-sprain%3fplatform=amp 2 weeks will be this weekend for Gallo. He will get evaluated and my guess is they say everything looks good, followed by another month of him rehabbing. Valentines weekend at earliest is my guess. Basing off of the pace we have shown when guys are cleared.
  21. 2 week time table would be this week sometime. Lets say he needs another 2-3 weeks after his review . Maybe we have him for February at earliest, or the second half restart in March at the latest.
  22. 8 weeks in standard recovery means 16 weeks in Hawks time. They will bring him along as slow as humanly possible. After the standard 8 weeks of treatment and healing, it will be 4 weeks of just rehab. Another 4 weeks of basketball related activities and conditioning. With our medical staff, never go by the standard numbers, always multiply by 2 AT LEAST.
  23. Im pissed because this isnt like its out of the blue, we have had 3 straight stinkers. One or two maybe I could let go, but 3 games in a row you dont show effort, that's tough to accept.
  24. Really Kev, not even going to fight for that pass.
