  1. Ouch, that's going to be a tough back to back. Hopefully we can split, they looking like public enemy #1 in the East.
  2. Exactly, Efff em all. The disrespect has been too loud for too long. Piss in everyone's cheerios from here on out.
  3. FYI: We talk about making the playoffs, well, these are the type of tough, ugly road games you have to win to make it in, and advance once you get there. Every game cant be pretty. We are down several bodies tonight and had to really fight for this one. Great job by the players and coaching staff.
  4. Ugly game going to be won on defensive end tonight. Got to put together stops, rebound, and not commit fouls.
  5. I take back the mean stuff I said about Kev. I mean, he still cant draw a foul to save his life, but I love that pretty shot when its going in.
  6. That was always such a bogus claim by his haters. JC never shot a 3 in college, his game was all midrange and in. Gets to the NBA, they dont want guys shooting midrange so they coach him out of it. He has even said as much, if they ever let him post in the midrange, that shot is in his bag. There were even posters on here saying he had a beautiful stroke out to 18, but doubted if he could shoot NBA 3's. People get amnesia when they have an agenda.
  7. We got 10 bodies and half the team in foul trouble. Beggars cant be choosers.
  8. Ugly, scrappy game so far for an undermanned Hawks team. Random thought, how wild would it be if we were playing possum against the Grizz in the preseason because we knew we had them on the schedule right out of the gate and didn't want to show our full hand? Wouldnt that be crazy and some next level chess move by LP and the coaching staff? Considering how upset everyone was calling for LP's head we look night and day against them with only 60% of our roster available. Gotta give props for the effort tonight. Hate him when we struggle, you better give him praise when the squad is locked in.
  9. And they have 13 more National TV games to go, but not the Hawks.
  10. Geez man, cmon. They need to stop babying these guys. Little nics and nacs are going to happen, contusion is medical jargon for a bruise. That's it. A bruised foot because he fell down making that layup or somebody stepped on his foot. He is fine. Covid times has taught us tomorrow isnt promised. I wished we would err on the side of urgency for once and not sit half the team just to play it safe.
  11. 1) Brooklyn. Too much talent top to bottom on this team. They will blitz the East during the regular season and self implode in the playoffs. Next season look out though. 2) Boston. I hate to say it, and but they look well coached and have a ton of emerging talent. Not a deep team, but once in the the playoffs I trust their main rotation more than others. 3) Bucks. When your best player cannot be trusted at the FT line to ice games, that's a huge red flag. They will collect W's but it wont lead to the promised land. 4) Philly. They will be much better than people give them credit for. Doc will coach this team to big things, I can see them finish in top 3 possibly. 5) Miami. They are not a regular season team, they will be up and down. Come postseason they could still make the ECF easily. 6) Toronto. Until proven otherwise, this franchise will continue to overachieve due coaching, depth, and toughness. Wont count them out of making noise in playoffs either 7) Hawks. Lucky 7. East is going to be tougher than people think. 7-10 are all evenly matched if you ask me. We will climb, but their is a lot of talent, chemistry, and coaching in front of us. We could be higher or lower when its said and done. 8 ) Indiana. Their starting 5 is as strong as anyones. Chemistry bodes well for regular season. They will stumble in playoffs 9) Wizards. Westbrook will play them in to the playoffs and defeat Indy in the play in round. 10) Orlando. These guys are underrated and have been competitive for quite some time. They will give us all they can during the regular season and playoffs. They have just enough talent at the right positions to give us fits. 11) Charlotte 12) Knicks 13) Bulls 14) Cavs 15) Detroit
  12. Lmao at Nique calling Solomon Hill, Solomon Jones. Sheesh, some things will never change, and Nique-isms are one of them
  13. Its night and day when you have a PG on the floor, even if he isn't as talented as someone else. Having a competent ball handler who can handle pressure, stay calm, attack the defense and make good passes is better than just running out a guy who "can" dribble up the court.
  14. 7 players in double figures, Hill is the only guy with minutes who hasnt scratched the scorecard yet.
  15. B-Goodie!!!! Kid is always a spark plug, I dont know why we wont just let him have the backup minutes until the other guys come back.
  16. Trae is deserving of all the praise for his first half, but lets not gloss over how well the "core" guys are looking as a whole. Cam, Dre, and Kev all look much more confident and assertive. JC being JC. And props to Gallo and Bogi for being steady for us while Trae sat. Night and day difference from the past.
  17. Kiss of death if this was the Falcons board. 99% win probability only means Falcons say, "now lets prove them wrong!"
  18. The defense is not bad, but not good. With the pace we play on offense I dont know if its even possible for us to have a great defense.
  19. After last night, lets put the GS stuff to bed. It's a new era in the NBA, they are not the standard anymore. Time to make teams start imitating us.
  20. OMG John what a catch. I dont care what the haters say, good hands is a talent for a big, and JC has elite hands.
  21. Patrick Williams looks like a nice player for the Bulls. Solid grab at #4 when it seemed like a reach.
