ive been saying this for years, why is it we cant get the evans & the blanchs off the nets or aresma that used to play for the celtics. im not asking for a howard, somebody second tier that can score garbage baskets. i love zazas efforts .we had him so long. its like he is one of the heart & soul of the hawks (like the mutt you purchased at the pound that was expendable but now b/c he is part of the family you will spend 500 dlrs. at the vet to save his life)

you are exactly right are starting units are not sturdy enough, i was beginning to think teague would be an untouchable & we build around him . but now if we can get an upgrade. we have needed an upgrade from zaza for yrs.but we refuse to do it for some reason

wow the first time hawks got blowed out & stuck in the 70's OH WELL. teague wasnt bringing anything to the game, he was in foul trouble, thats the other thing about teague he is on again off again, he needs to bring us 20 pts. a night no less than16. lou is out their to score & he just did not have it tonight

where the hell is horford. he is just totally not their, did he get his girlfriend pregnant? did he comit a robbery & comback in time for the game?this is allso the first time korver & lou seemed like the batterries were taken out of them. but sixers allways have looked like they were more physical then we were.wait until they get their monster back & we want be able to touch them. i hope this is no more than a 3 game skid without the 3 ball. but see this is why you try to get your bench some playing time besides just practice fodder b/c you never know.some nights size wise zaza & ivan are not going to be enough.i think we were too fast in getting rid of dampier i personally would have like to seen what he could give us in shape. you see the celtics picked up our other big stiff. i have seen him more than fab melo.

well damb folks dont let the jumper cables touch your balls, but knowbody is beating durant & westbrook when they are shooting like that. thats why they have done it to 12 straight teams.their bigs also did come to play anytime debeit gets you six points its a good omen. at least they gave us heart. we didnt have devin & he was just starting to put more stats on the boards, not saying that would make a difference.

man i turned this game off with 5 minutes left rest assured we were going to lose this game b/c we looked listless. i went to watch inkmasters instead.

yea next year ferry will have to walk on a high wire. deciding whom to keep & whom to splurge on . he is not going to be able to keep all eleven. like i said the glaring weaknes i see that we could upgrade is zaza. i love the hustle he has given us .but if we could get somebody in that box that can convert when the guards break the defense down & pass the ball to them also put alittle more pressure on the defense by driving from the freethrow line im satisfied.

well i remember a season ago it was charles barkley saying he felt like we eitheir had to get rid of joe or josh b/c they dont mesh together. we get rid of joe and walla. horford & josh have figured something out. something i have allways praised josh about is his assist. which a lot of hawks fans take for granted. he puts horford in great positions to score with his passes. & now that we got people that can dot the 3 pointer, we see that he is at the end of a lot of those passes as well. im a josh homer but i was up for trading him, but for whom ( a lme center like chris kaman ,gets u 16 pts. but not alot on defense) abrook lopez somebody thats constantly injured. i remember when i posted (JOSH SMITH THROWING DOWN DUNKS THAT MAKE YOU AFRAID TO TRADE HIM) im now thinking lets give him 15 mill for 5 yrs. lets face it he is the highlite real of the hawks, you know there is something to this when lebron even thinks he should have been an allstar.

well it looks like drew is getting some play from inside the NBA (kenny,webber & shack). just congratulate him for a good job. they finally spent a paragraph on the hawks ( kenny actually sees us winning 50 games). their was also a disgruntled laker fan that called in and said," i am disappointed in dantonio b/c a team is a reflection of their coaches demenor, look at chris jackson, look at larry drew with the atlanta hawks, those teams are going to the playoffs."so we are establishing a stage for ourselves, i beleive this is the first step in encourageing stars to want to come here.

its going to get real interesting when we play the worriors a team that mirrors us.

coaching is so overated sometime, it all comes down to whether you got the horses or not. all of a sudden woodson is a genius really. he also has five guys that can hit a three & the best scorer in the league (cormello).so he can iso to his soul desires.the team needed some defense & he gave them that.i remeber going to the first game & i sadi to myself, " man we got some fast guards, if drew could ever draw this up right, we might have something". looks like he has found out what his team is all about.

i agree at 11 points a piece, now seeing teagues potential he needs to put in 20 a night and definately no lower than 16. but the point totals among the cast were good enough to win a game in the nba.( & oh yea we still havent had any 70 point stinkers)

well you just not going to beat them when they are shooting like that, especially when wade decides to play.cant complain thigh b/c we were still right their until 3 minutes lefty in the third. got cold on the perimeter & heat never cooled off.i still wish we had another big we could play besides zaza. dont get me wrong (i like the heart that he gives us but he needs to at least give us six a game) i see people get him the ball in th paint & a lot of times lately he looks stuck..i whish we had kover back to give us a little more defense on the perimeter. why didnt ivan get some run?

ferry has put us ahead of the curve, this has turned into a shooting league. you here all the time, you cant live by the jumpshot, you need a big man to get you easy baskets in the paint.yad yada yada. i just watched the knicks dam near shoot 20 3 pointers & frustrate the heat, its all about putting the ball in the basket at the ene of the day.(they did it without carmello) why do you think its hard to beat san antonio? b/c they have guys that can shoot the ball 1 thru 10.they are not reliying on on 1 or 2 people to score 30. how did the dallas mavericks win a few yrs. ago, again they had 5 guys that could hit the 3 at any given time.they shored up the middle with chandler just to give them a little more toughness & it was on. (i remeber when they hit20 3's to knock lakers out the playoffs) we just beat another tough team in memphis, a team that is on paper put together better than we are.i still must see if we are mentaly tough enough to be the celtics & how we would look against the knicks. now i see why ferry want pick up anybody that cant hit the side of a barn, even though they might give us defensive & rebounding toughness. thats avery good observation & i think thats why you have to to have a powerpoint presentation on joe johnson.no leadership qualities any where.like the other poster said, no rebounds, barely any assists.he does not bring pressure on the fast break anymore.( alot of times he just pulls up)too quiet for his own good.

i was really insinsed by how espn (magic & company) practically said nothing about the hawks after their victory, they only kept hob knobbing about the next game. one announcer was pat on the back for saying the hawks would have a good season.

thats zaza for you , the man i love to hate, sometimes its just painfull watching him goof up assist.like a truck going up hill with a clumsy gear shift.

zaza did cost us b/c it was 3 posesions we gave zaza the ball in great position to convert and he didnt. he looked like he was intimidated for the first time.zaza had been giving us great point contributions the last couple of games.tonight nothing, but somehow i just knew the mop haired varjou was going to give us trouble.

the annoncer said" joe is in a slump everywhere except the occasional 3 pointer. at one point he was 4 of 16. he hit 3 threes & but did make 2 buckets at the end of a game to help the nets pull it out.he had 19 pts.(one game i saw).well im glad wedont have to pay24million for barely 16 a game.

well he is going to be forced to play the bigs when we play the nets. that evens kid just frustrates peole on the boards along with bianch , humphries & lopez. josh does give you allmost 6 assist per game & his fre throw shooting is coming around.

i practically just threw a name out their b/c some people dont think josh is anymore valuable then a stiff.but you dont think OKC wouldnt want to switch josh with saralosa (or whatever his name) & let ibacka play center to give them a defensive edge & another guy to run the wings on a fast break.

we are an unconvetinal team that can give you an exciting brand of basketball, is what it means.we havent had a stinker yet of being held to 70 pts. it also means we dont miss joe johnson.
