  1. come back and holler at me when josh has 30 pts. and 18 rebounds, hell horf doesnt even do that. sometimes josh is the only one that is hitting his jumpers. sometimes he is the one hitting the 3 pointers. sometimes his jumpers brake up a scoring drought. now i am as upset with his basketball iq just like everybody else.but clearly the most disapointing is joe.their is too many times doing the game i hear domonique say, we gotto get joe going and he has 3 pts. at halftime.we got to wait till 3 minutes left in the 4th before he warms up..
  2. i think thats it n anut shell , we dont have any leadership out their. our so called superstar has no balls. and we are intent on trading josh pls. get a decent center for him.
  3. and dont forget gang hes going to get older at the end of that contract.he already has a tough time getting past some players.
  4. you are so right, the bottom line is joe has no balls.pierce wills his team to a victory, even with3 players draped all over him & what does our 123 million dlr. mn have 9 pts.until the middle of the 3rd. announcer said joe only has 4 shots. well whosed fault is that. a superstar demands the ball. i know supertars have off games but a real superstar does not go more than 3 games being shut down.and we talk about trading josh alll the time. it wouldnt be so bad if he was only getting 15 a yr.i beleive this is where the hawks get their demenor from of low intensity at the start of games.
  5. iam right with you all if prago, marvin st least give us to good shots a piece we win.like magic said if we had that 3rd play give us 20 we could win.t-mac was on his way to doing it until he got hurt then he was not the same.
  6. folks is dampier really that bad, i mean we could have used him for some spot minutes.
  7. well i kind of ffaultdrew for that we have another stiff sitting on the bench over their that we never used , is he that bad. what did we get him for if we cant play him.
  8. you right you got to have more than that from your superstar.this should be josh numbers with more rebounds and blocks. not the other way around. if im not mistaken joe onlt has 2 30 pt. game this season geez.
  9. i mean man it seams like a plague has been put on the hawks. drew should grab 100 dollars and go see one of those spiritual healers about his team.
  10. wel c-mon gang the guy is undersized and is playing kory irving.he is not in the top echelon of point guards and his 1st yr. at the helm.we shouldnt be surprised at what we got.you can thank millwakee for that.we were supposed to get ty lawson but they hogged 3 point guards right before we picked . that why i wish every missfortune on that team tpday.
  11. but how many games can we consitanyly win waiting on joe to warmup with 3min. left in the game.he did the dam thing tonight ok.its just that it seems to be too much of a of a constant feom him.
  12. well my prophecy allmost comes to past it took joe allmostto the last2 minutes of the game to thaw out.for more than 3/4 of the game cant find him with a flood lamp.then he comes through o well HOO-RAY!! damb i like the effort zaza has given us but this is the2nd point blank layup he has missed at the end pf games. smith really had a bad shooting night all around b/c he missed a lot of stuff at the basket. eventhough he scored 32. he did the work of true superstae at the f/t line 12/14.
  13. man i see what you saying, got me asking GOD why do you hate us?
  14. lets see you have your starting centefr out prago, radmonovich out and willie green joe went down and you damb near in the middle of the pack of the playoff teams.what are you complaining about.im surprised b/c im usually the first to throw stones at the hawks.but even i realise their is a time to be thankfull.
  15. ok so joe is hot right now, i still see too many game where hes got 3 pts. at half time and might not show up until3 minutesleft in the game and guess who has to caarry the hawks until he thaws out. thats josh smith. Now the most harshest critic in basketball is charles barkley.hes golng to tell it likr it is. he has sad," the nba made a mistake in not sending josh to the allstar game in place of joe".that shows you he has been getting league attention. he also said about joe." hey i love joe, but he has to give me more than this, you can get a guy for 10 million a yr. to do what he is doing." joe should be averaging27 a night for120 million.if he was signed for15 i wouldnt complain.jos goes on these stretches where he is off for 5 & sometimes 10 games. i hear domonique say too many time after halftime hey we got to get joe going.
  16. you all are a bunch of crap all superstars have their off games , they just rarely go into 5 game slumps like ours.
  17. c-mon gang you all should no coaching is somewhat overated in basketball,i remember when everyone was crying about noy getting byron scoot and what is he doing and avery johnson is he winning hell no.its all about the horses you have. now im not crazy about drew but dame you loose horford, you have an inconsistant so called superstar in jj. you loose willie green, reddick is just now getting into form.marvin on some nights is a question mark.you are not sure what you are going to get out of teague or zaza,(though i like the potential i see from teague) we ars lucky we are not at the bottom of the barrel ( and please stop the woody talk b/c with him you dont see teague,9to 5, willie green nor t-mack on the floor.he just happend to be what the nicks needed a defensive coach.
  18. seeing as how we never seem to get the max out of our trades, i think we missed a golden oppertunity at the deadline, nobody wants to trade josh right now. but the trade should have been josh for chris kaman straight up.somebody that you can practically pencil in for 16 pts. a night. that would take pressure off your offense. when horford comes back you put him at his normal position.simple
  19. you know i was a josh sith defender all the way up until the first2 games of the secound round then i threw my hands up and said we need to trade him to los angeles .lets trade him for odom or gasal b/c they need a high energy atheletic guy. then he puts on a performance like that in game 4. then it brings me back to a statement i made on the boards a long time ago (JOSH SMITH IS MAKING DUNKS THAT MAKE YOU AFRAID TO TRADE HIM) he clearly changes the complextion of the game when he plays right. the key to this bulls series is reallly about being tougher in the paint and we have nobody intheir thats a threat except for josh smith as far as offense wise horford seem like he got the message when he bullied noah down in the paint. Is it me or does anyone realise when it seems likethe team wants to win down the strecth, that we start getting more calls from the refs.
  20. i have to give an A-MAN to that brother i have been trying to tell people smoove has more of an impact on the team then joe when he plays. i was on the trade e josh band wagon for a compitant center. but the way its looking now i would rather trade joe before i trade josh.
  21. i am tired of the damded excuses for joe, the best player on the team, i cant really say that right now b/c it seems to me the guy that makes the most impact right now when he is on is josh smith, atone time i was on the bandwagon of lets trade josh for a competant center, but hell josh hits us 3or 4 jumpers in a row, gives us 6 assist swats 3or4 balls out the paint and occasionally hits us 2 or 3 3pt. baskets.at this point id rather trade joe than josh. for 120 million this guy should be more prolific like a durant pumping in 27 a night. so we dont have that & i realise that lebron and wade on slumps but for dam near whole monts at a time. i was at the millwaukee game when joe put on one of the greatest shooting clinics of the season. WHY CANT I GET THAT 2 TIMES A MONTH. if he can just give us 1/2 of what he gave us that night i would be satisfied. hell give us a loud 16 anight where you hit 3 or 4 straight jumpers in a row during a team run. or hit some dagger shots to stop the opposites team run. hit a wide open 3 when no one is on you . this should be the least your 120 million dollar man should do. joe is beginning to scare me b/c at the end of that contract he is going to look worse than bibby if he doesnt get prolific with his jumper. their is another nock on joe, horford said something about the team a while ago,"at times we are too laid back, sometime its a detrement & sometimes its a benefit".team intensity comes from your leaders and joe is too laid ack to bring intensity. i know you cant lay all of it on his shoulders but you can lay 1/2 of the lack of intensity to his account. If this team is not competitive against newyork in the playoffs , giving us at least a 6 game series, i say blow up the team and put every one on the scrapheap and maybe try to keep horford if you can ( look at the THUNDER for motivation and hope we draft right next time)
  22. motivation doesnt nessecerilly come from the coaches, it comes from players and how they impact a game. i think the source of the problem is none other than the 120 million dollar man. horford said something that got my attention a few weaks ago," these guys at some time are just too laid back, its a benefit at times but its also a detriment". just personifys being too laid back. well its our supposed to be superstar. im not asking him to be a wade or labron but make teams pay every once in a while when they leave you wide open at the 3 point line. hell hit 3 jumpers in a row when your wide open. i never see joe challenging his teammates to get it together after running back down the court.
  23. you sure are right about that b/c i dont see it from the 120 million dollar man, marvin finally made himself usefull. for a while it looked like the hawks offense could not withstand the pressure of chicagos defense. for a while it looked like we didnt belong on the floor with chicago. i still feel like things would loosen up with josh in the lineup, man i hope his injury is not a season ender.
  24. to me he is still woefully inadequite for offense to be a starter. but larry drew is doing the right thing in taking advantage of his strengths which is quick hands on defense (playing to a players strength) which is something woody would never do. just by looking at these past 2 games it has seemed to energise our defense. but if you cant shoot you have got to make a higher percentage of your runners to the basket. and for the life of me i cant figure out how is it that josh smith can develope what is becoming to be a silky smooth net scorching jumper and marvins jumper be so erratic. he only has given us one good season to where he shot the jumper well ( he actually shot the 3 ball well that yr.)
  25. you are right at least acie would get hot with his jumper every once in a while and we could coax 20 pts. out of him.
