We aren't going to change much. I see some light roster shuffling but that's it. As long as Lebron and co. play at that level, we aren't taking the East crown from them. Not with this current team.

The Hawks don't really have any sort of strategery. Its more like what's probably going to happen. 85% that they'll blow it. 14% that it'll be OK. 1% that they'll knock it out of the park.

You said that Budball = moving the ball for the best shot. So why did we shoot so many gorram 3s? Budball is good when it works but when it doesn't, it's really ugly.

So.... JR Smith as a first option? Yea... no. Sure he's better than our wings but that's not saying too much.

Well... we're more than likely going to overpay someone anyways. Whether that's both Horf and an upgrade at the wing... or just Horf. We can't really just keep scraping the $5 bin and hope to really go any further. Either overpay someone or rebuild. Are there better people worth overpaying than Barnes? Sure, but they aren't coming to the Hawks.

I definitely agree that the Max is too high. But its too high for any player that isn't in the highest echelon of the league. That said, I'd rather pay Derozan than start Korver and/or Baze at... well... either wing position. Lol I think he'll stay in Toronto though.

Why even draft and stash? It's not like that player getting playing time is gonna hurt our odds at the finals.

I'm a little mixed on the whole fit thing. Is it better to look for players that fit your system or get a top tier player and make a system that fits around them? Personally I vote the latter. But granted that we are the Hawks, we'll stay with the former. Signing regular players that fit our system in the off season is great and all but it's not going to get a championship if that's the plan.

To be fair, Teague also spent more time with more reliable scorers. Scott being the 2nd most consistent guy on the bench kind of says it all.

Looking back, he wasn't totally wrong on Diaw. He ended up with more rings than any of his other picks.
