  1. Ha! I see what you did there....
  2. 1. Zach LaVine - Best athelete in this draft outside of Wiggins, and already has a deadly jumper. Needs to improve defensively, bulken up some more, and try to become more consistent with creating his shot if he wants to be a future All-Star in this league. 2. Rodney Hood - He and McDermott are players who can already contribute to your team. He has a deadly stroke and attacks the rim at will. Not a freakish athlete, but he is a good one. Needs to improve ALOT more defensively to be a major starter in the NBA. 3. Dario Saric - He's probably going to be the best Euro Point-Forward the NBA will ever see. He has amazing offensive versatility, can attack inside and out, and has near elite court vision that he uses to find teammates for easy assists. There's a question mark as to what position he can play in the NBA, but it seems to me that he would thrive more as a SF than a PF. 4. Doug McDermott- Behind Jabari, he is the best scorer in this draft, and scoring is what this Hawks team needs. 5. James Young- Good athlete with great upside. Needs to improve his jumper to be a really good player in this league.
  3. I have a different stance on Hood now. He reminds me of a young Joe Johnson, back in his days with Phoenix, minus the defense. I love how he's capable of setting up his teammates for easy assists, while also being agressive offensively on the opposing team. If our system could make Kyle Korver a good defender, I don't see why we couldn't make Hood a good defender as well. Sign me up!
  4. Looks as though Harris' stock may be falling out of the lottery due to his measurables. But if he falls to us, do we really want ANOTHER undersized SG?
  5. Wouldn't they have cap relief pretty soon if KG retires and Pierce leaves? They can still lure some free agents, and the option of switching draft picks becomes pointless.
  6. The only reason I'd do this move is to get cap relief for that '15 free agent class.
  7. Can't blame Gonzalez on the team he was given. I blame the majority of this month long slump on Wren. Every hitter, 1-9, is guaranteed to each get atleast 2 strikeouts per game. We need better offensive players to help our pitchers out.
  8. Just imagine if Bud had players of equivalent to the Wizards! Finals? Champions?
  9. I'm not sure that site is a reliable source. If it were true, Deron would just hurt the team chemistry that has already been established last year.
  10. I suggested these uniforms about last year. Incorporates the current color scheme, while reverting back to the classic pacman jersey many Hawks' fans remember from the 80's.
  11. Wouldn't the Pacman replace the current secondary logo in the middle of the court?
  12. I thought Antić was 6'11?
  13. The second coming of Toni Kukoc!
  14. The only deal that I see wouldn't go down is the trade with Houston. I could easily see them wanting our first round pick this year to draft a PG like Ennis.
  15. The thing I like most about him is that he is known for being a defensive stopper against the top wings in the NBA (Carmelo, James, Bryant, etc). He's no slouch offensively either as he provides a good midrange/slashing game.
  16. Ferry loves these former Duke players. http://sportsglory.com/nba/atlanta-hawks-interested-luol-deng/19029 Would he be a good fit on this ball club?
  17. He and Wren signed 2 year deals before the season started.
  18. I don't see why Mills would want to leave a team that's almost a lock to win 60+ games, to come to our team, who isn't quite sure of the direction that is being headed in. I think we have to put all our faith on Schröder to help provide decent minutes in the backup PG position. That means he has to drastically improve his jumper and work more on defense.
  19. Regarding the Pac, does that mean the Hawks will get new alternate uni's?
  20. Still though, would you have expected this Hawks team to take Indy to 7 games? I mean cut them some slack!
  21. Disappointing loss for sure, but the Hawks showed that they can take one of the best teams in the NBA to 7 games, while dealing with a major injury to Al Horford. It's up to Ferry now, draft a stud in the draft, and hopefully find free agents willing to come play for our system.
  22. I'd think that Ferry wouldn't go after Mills, as I'm sure he has alot of confidence in Schröder to handle that back up role. I'd only want Hawes if he was coming here as a backup center, and we waive Antić. In the draft, I can see us drafting Zach LaVine out of UCLA. He has elite athleticism to go along with a deadly outside stroke. If that happens, I'd be pretty happy with the offseason.
  23. Key to whether or not we beat the Pacers is if Pero can step up. I believe this game will help us determine whether or not he should be included in the future plans regarding the Atlanta Hawks.
