  1. I've been really judgmental of Smoove in the past, but I gotta say I felt for the guy tonight. He stayed in the paint mostly and just couldn't hit anything. He got really pissed at himself when he bricked those free throws. Hopefully he learns from this, accepts what kind of player he is (not a #1 option and not a shooter), and gets out of this funk, and if he doesn't a change in scenery would probably do him some good.
  2. Didn't mean to sound so harsh my man. Just trust me on that one.
  3. We'd probably have to give up Jenkins and take back Dudley to get Gortat, but if he's really pushing to leave that's probably worth it.
  4. IF we trade Teague, I'd be looking for someone like Paul George, Kanter, or Derrick Favors.
  5. Hoping to sneak into the 8th seed does not mean win now. They're simply hoping to acquire assets without tanking, which is hopefully the way we'll be going as well.
  6. Ah. Didn't see the game but seems Teague got benched. Damn. I think we could get better value than this if we actually trade him though.
  7. I'm not a tremendous fan, but he's both probably available and on a short deal in a position of need. The FA crop of next year has thinned tremendously.
  8. I really don't understand why fans are "picking sides" on certain players. It's so silly. Sure, Josh catches a lot more flack than Horford does but that's because he makes a lot more easily correctable mistakes. Sheesh, it's really not that big of a deal. They're both top 30 players.
  9. Varejao is criminally underrated and that's why Cleveland won't trade him for just anything. They might go for something like Varejao+Waiters for Horford (maybe).

I was thinking about this earlier actually. No way we get Pekovic for Hawes but Turner's got some game and Hawes will be solid backing up Zaza.
  11. Yea. But I figure we could probably get him with just our depth and he'd be a better signing than anyone we get this summer and then he expires the summer after that.
  12. Ha. Probably. But he played pretty well too. Still needs to get that FG% up.
  13. I second that. I was a doubter, but even though his shooting has cooled off he's been playing really well.
  14. I'm not sure how plausible this is, but something likeLou Will, Petro, Morrow/Korver, and maybe a pickfor Granger. He's out for a while and a little on the expensive side (though he only has 2 years left on his deal), but gives us a wing. They can move Paul George and Green to SF full time and get Morrow to be the pure shooter they need for HIbbert and a spark plug off the bench in Lou. I'm not sure if that would be worth it for either party though.
  15. Horf played really well, especially toward the end.
  16. The problem is San Antonio doesn't have a bad contract like Tyrus Thomas. Plus they're really high on Leonard.

^Blatt? The Van Gundys? The Vaughn guy the Magic hired out of the Spurs organization looks really good, maybe we could snag someone else from there!
  18. ^He is. We're really not going to get a ton for him if/when we trade him, particularly if he doesn't step it up a bit.
  19. Teague was legit last night. Too bad only he, Morrow, and Stevenson showed up.
  20. Nope. Overpaid, old. Smith trades should bring back youth, picks, expirings. If we bring back a bad contract, make sure we get something else too.
  21. Whew. I hate to say it so early because he seems like a cool guy, but I'm having trouble liking Lou Williams right about now.
