Born in Atlanta. Been watching the Hawks since my dad got me into basketball when I was 6 watching Manning. First game was the game after Nique was traded. I don't remember the game, just that my dad thought Manning would lead the Hawks to a chip.

I taught him everything I know. I hate to gloat, but I was a defensive juggernaut in HS.

When I played ball in HS, our longest win streak was 4 games(during my sophomore year on J.V) We couldn't stop talking about it. Although, these are professionals, I really doubt they haven't brought up the fact they have won 19 games straight.

Moose is our best rebounder, but he isn't good enough to get a lot of minutes.

What..? I'm the most optimistic person on this forum probably.. I've never had a bad vibe this season which is why I am worried. I hope I am proven wrong. Out of my 33 posts, this was probably my only post with no structure.

I'm sorry, but the odds are not in our favor. We are bound to lose eventually, and I can see that game being today. We will see though, I just have a bad vibe about today.

Before this year, the first seed is always talked about. Not when it's the Hawks though.

Zach Lowe has always liked us.

Teague has gotta stay aggressive. Rondo is a good defender, so that may be a problem for teague. However, Rondo has close to no offensive game, sso there is no reason for teague to be scorched by him. Teague is the better PG then Rondo now, that's how good Teague has gotten. Bench has gotta keep the 3 point shooting up. They have been amazing during this stretch. Even Pero Antić has been hitting some big shots. Heard Mike Bud will go with Teague-Schröder a lot this game, so one of them can ware rondo out.

I don't see why we don';t have Jenkins in the rotation. He fits our system perfectly as a shooter. He should get half of Mack's minutes. Payne should get ALL of pero's minutes.

DMC isn't confident in his jumper. He hesitated too many times from the 3 wide open. But he should start. He played excellent D and was still efficient offensively.

Pretty minor injury. But it does hurt like a bitch to put pressure on. Playing with it would be like playing with a cramp - impossible.

Great block by Tavares for sure. Can he do that in the NBA?

They should both be good by opening day.

Noticed he isn't getting much love. However, I'll give hime some. Guy is EXTREMELY smart. There's definitely potential there to be a decent back up starting center there. I can definitely see what Ferry saw in him. Guy has literally taken 0 ill-advised shots, which I imagine is tough considering the lack of offensive plays. On 18mpg, he is averaging 7/4 on 77% shooting. Pretty good. He's mobile when it comes to running the court, also noticed he has very good foot work! Most resembling Pau Gasol.

I admit, he isn't a scrub, but he is a role player now that wouldn't fit in ATL. I'm glad we didn't get him

I'll do the math. Paul Millsap is making 9.5m this year. Deng, with complete speculation, will receive the rest of our cap. Which is 13.5 million due to salmons being waived for 1 million. Joe Johnson is currently making 23m this year and rising to 24m the next. 9.5 + 13.5 is exactly 23 million. Where as Joe Johnson is making 100,000 over 23m at the moment. So it's slightly less than Joe. I'll take it.
