  1. It is unrealistic to think that Bosh, Lebron and Melo all take that big of a paycut. Especially Bosh, I would say there is close to a 0% chance of him taking 11 million. I actually believe that chance is 0%.
  2. Call it an excuse all you want but it's a legit reason. Here are our 13 losses with Horford. You tell me which ones stick out like a sore thumb. @ Dal by 9, @ LAL by 2, @ Den by 2, during the 8 game in 12 day stretch @ MIA by 16 (no Milsap),vs Bos by 7, vs Orl by 16, @ Hou by 29, @ Wash by 7 @ SAS by 2, vs OKC by 9, @ NYK by 5, @ MIA by 2
  3. I would be ok with it as long as Deng's deal is short. I would rather improve this year while saving our cap for next year's loaded class than give a max player to a guy like Monroe and have our cap screwed for 4 years. I think we could be as good as any one in the East next season if Deng stayed healthy and his shot improved similar to how Carroll's did.
  4. We could have easily been 19-10. We were robbed by the refs in that Heat OT loss. We had an insane 8 game in 12 day schedule at the end of November where our guys were just dead by the end of it. We probably beat Orlando and Boston at the end of that run if we aren't playing on dead legs. Just look at hot low our point production was at the end of that stretch to see proof. We played 4 games in 5 nights. had 2 days off. played another 4 games in 5 nights. I'm willing to be no other team had to endure that last season.
  5. Can we at least get one link to these rumors?
  6. Lance is an unrestricted free agent. He is free to sign a deal with another team today if he chooses to.
  7. I would be fine with this although I know it's unlikely. That's a contending team in the East next season. I don't see Pau eager to take less money for a backup role. Maybe have Gasol and Horford start with Milsap off the bench?
  8. I will take Deng as long as it's on a Milsap type deal. He would only have to play about 30 mins. per game in the regular season which will hopefully keep him healthy come playoff time. Carroll seems to be a hardworker and I hope that he will improve his 3 pt shooting even more during the offseason. Having both Deng and Carroll available to defend Lebron and Paul George in the playoffs would be a huge luxury. This would move would also help sure up SG as Carroll could split minutes at SG and SF. Gasol would be a nice get but we have a higher need for SF than C. I would rather not overpay Stephenson or Monroe for 4 years and I think it will take an overpay to land them.
  9. Melo! If I can have any free agent, I want Melo at 17 mil.
  10. This may be true but Bosh, Wade and Haslem have all opted out of deals when they are unlikely to get that kind of money in a new deal. It's hypocritical of Lebron to request this from them and then turn around and do the opposite. I'm personally happy with it and hope he gets the max. The Heat aren't going anywhere if they have to spend 50 million on the big 3.
  11. I have zero interest in Lebron if he is truly seeking the max. He has no-showed, at key moments, way too many times to even think about spending over 1/3 of our cap on him.
  12. I agree. Milsap and Horford were combining for close to 40 and 20 on good shooting percentages. Them combined are a matchup nightmare for pretty much every team in the league.
  13. Ferry's moves are never clear. I don't put faith in any media reports until a move is actually finalized.
  14. I would 100% support this. We could then move Milsap or Horford and sign one of the available SFs.
  15. Amen!!! People are acting like this trade, of two players who currently provide no benefit to the team, is the end of the world. You all haven't even let free agency play out to see who our additions will be. Instead, you are all freaking out for no reason. Give it a couple of weeks and let's see what our team looks like before you start passing judgement.
  16. I don't care where melo goes as long as it's not to the Bulls or to team up with lebron somewhere. Him going out west would be nice as he always kills us.
  17. Stole his girlfriend and slapped his mama obviously
  18. Exactly. Teague showed a lot towards the end of the season last year. He's good to go as long as he can be a bit more consistent and I'm confident that he will be next year. He had a new coach, new system, new players and a constant changing lineup due to injuries last season. Teague is about to take his game to the next level next year.
  19. The AJC is reporting that the Hawks plan on making qualifying offers to Scott and Mack so both should be back next season.
  20. Teague is here to stay and he is about to ball out next year. Get ready, because it's coming.
  21. Far better coach. I believe we have the better front office. Jefferson and Kemba are their only players that could start in our lineup and I would prefer to start Horford since he is more versatile on both ends of the floor. Teague is still better than kemba as well. Are you really trying to argue that Kemba/Henderson/MKG/McRoberts/Jefferson is anywhere close to Teague/Korver/Carroll/Milsap/Horford? The results certainly paint a different picture as well as the eye test.
  22. Nah, we are miles ahead of them. Do you really expect MKG or Zeller to develop in to some stud? Kemba is ok but he is small. Give me Teague over Kemba. We will go 3-1 at worst but probably 4-0 against them next season.
  23. We are currently miles ahead of Charlotte and we can add 1 first round pick and have the cap space to add a significant player, so I'm not sure what you are getting at. We were 3-1 against Charlotte last year with the only loss being by 2 points when they played their starting 5 and we sat Milsap, Carroll and Korver with Horford already being out. So yeah, we are a galaxy ahead of Charlotte and will continue to be.
  24. Typical losers mentality. Keep that shit to yourselves if you must continue to be on the losing bandwagon. This team is now full of a winning front office and players with a winning attitude. Get on board or get left behind.
  25. Rose's knees are shot and he takes up 1/3 of the cap for Chicago. We had Indy on the ropes without Horford and Antić couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. We would have probably beat Indy if Antić just shot his season averages instead of shooting 12%. Washington is about to lose Ariza. So yes, we are right there with all 3 of those and I think we can finish with a better record than all 3 as well. Call it what you want, but I think I'm being realistic. Our team was on a tear offensively before Horford went down.
