  1. Are people really blaming Teague for Horford's shortcomings. Horford is to blame for his shortcomings. He has no more than two post moves and a high percentage of his made shots come from someone else creating a wide open shot for him. Anyone who watched the Heat game saw him get straight abused by Bosh. His shooting % is so high because he is usually taking a wide open shot or a shot right by the rim. He has never been asked to create your own shot which will lead you to taking tougher shots which will lower your FG%
  2. Holy overreaction Batman. We all knew this would be a tough game before Milsap was scratched from the lineup. Our guys looked good in the first half but fell apart in the second half. Mike Scott continues to impress with a solid double-double last night. I like how Bud kept Horford out in the 4th and decided to rest key players in preparation for tonight's game instead of giving in to a futile attempt to try and make a comeback. The Pistons are in trouble tonight. We should employ the hack-a-Drummond strategy tonight as he is 2/16 from the FT line this year but he is only averaging 1.5 FT's per game on 36 minutes per game. Why do people Hack Dwight constantly and not Drummond? Dwight atleast shoots 40-50% from the line and not under 20% like Drummond.

    Millsap...

I would rather stick with Milsap for now. Asik isn't gonig to get us any closer to a title. it will just change the way we get to a first round exit with a slight chance of second round which is where we already are. I don't see a point in getting a big just to say we got a big. I feel your pain Mace. Everything you are saying makes complete sense.
  4. Anyone who puts Holliday anywhere above 5th on that list is nuts. Holliday is as overrated as it gets. He statpads against lottery teams and gets owned against good competition. Just look at what Teague did to him in their matchups last year. Teague DOMINATED Holliday over most of the 4 games where they faced each other last year. The only game he didn't was mostly due to lack of playing time.
  5. Just grabbed a pair of pretty good seats for tonight's game. Can't wait to watch our boys make Dolan eat his words. This will be my first trip to Philips from Macon this season. Let's get it Hawks!!!
  6. Harden is a below average shooter at every spot on the floor outside of around the rim and at the FT line. His 3 pt % is decent but does not standout. Take away the superstar calls that the league has decide to give him and he would be just an average player. He has no mid-range game and the addition of Dwight will not help this. The addition of Dwight will most likely push Harden further away from the basket. He also contributes nothing on defense. Harden is overrated as hell and I believe he will be the weak link on the Rockets when the playoffs come around. Your Rudy Gay prediction is asking a lot too.
  7. We would have to wait for one year before we could trade Teague to Milwaukee if we match their offer.
  8. LOL. Overexaggerate much? How in the hell is Ferry's entire Hawks career based on Schröder's development in to a star or not. He was an 18th pick of a weak draft. The key is to remain cap flexible so we have as many options as possible.
  9. Jennings can be had for cheap now because we are pretty much the only team left that has cap room and a need for a PG. I would rather sign Jennings to a cheap two year deal and give Schröder time to develop than invest 32 million in Teague. Teague is a good player, and he was one of my favorites for his first two years on the Hawks, but his lack of effort and passion has gotten old. On some nights, its like his body is on the court but his mind is elsewhere and this is unacceptable. His lack of effort on defending the pick and roll is bad as well. With Jennings, he may lose us some games by chucking when he is cold but atleast he will be aggressive on a nightly basis.
  10. LOL this. Do some of you even watch basketball? That team would be terrible offensively and would never make it past the 2nd round.
  11. Hill a true PG? Hill's lack of PG skills is the key reason why the Pacers won't win a title. They have no one that can initiate the offense. I thought this was obvious to everyone.
  12. Diesel must be really bored this summer. The troll is strong in this one.
  13. I will take Jennings over Teague every day of the week. Teague is too passive while Jennings looks to attack the rim at all times. We could surround him with 4 above average shooters and he would wreak havoc on defenses. Sure, he has some faults, but I would rather have a pg that looks to take what he wants instead of settles for what he is given. Jennings has star qualities and I think he would be a good fit in Atlanta.
  14. Great, so now we will be undersized at PF and C. Sounds familiar
  15. I would love to have Pau. He's an expiring contract and hopefully we could get a good deal on him next year. He could finish his career with the team that drafted him.
  16. Almost made it to EC finals? We lost in 6 in the first round. How do you get almost made it to the EC finals from that.
  17. and you still haven't posted anything to back your claims that Dwight will only come here if Monta and Josh are here. If he likes Bud, he will trust Bud and Ferry's opinion when they tell him that Horford would be a great fit next to him.
  18. You really think that Dwight doesn't make his teammates better? Jameer nelson made a freaking all-star game and he made Hedo look good enough for Toronto to give him that crazy contract and he was terrible when he left Orlando. Do you think that was a coincidence? The same can be said for Rashard Lewis as well.
  19. The Nets just mortgaged their entire future for a team that won't sniff a title. Sorry, but I don't want any part of that.
  20. Aww yeah. 2 Euros tells me that we are still hoping for Paul/Howard. Lets get it Ferry!
  21. Do you know what 5% bodyfat looks like? I guarantee you he is not close to 5% bodyfat.
  22. Teague's biggest problem is that he completely disappears on some nights. He also isn't capable of putting the team on his back and dominating a game for the win like Paul is.
  23. Everyone in the building knew that Splitter wouldn't be taking the 3 which allowed Bosh to cheat towards Green. If Pop puts Bonner out there to set the screen, Bosh has to respect Bonner's ability to hit the 3 which takes away his chance to hedge on Green.
