I like the trade for us, just not sure Minn will be interested. Jenkins is not a proven player in this league. Also, millsap would seek a FA deal and I don't see Timberwolves giving up Dieng for a risk like that. We would have to include a pick, which I wouldn't be against. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tarik Black was just released by Houston, he seems to have decent rebounding abilities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn't be against acquiring a bench player who can get us some rebounds when needed. Problem is would have to give up an asset to do so. I can't think of an asset that I want to part with right now due to our success other than a 2nd Round pick (Maybe Mack but with Teague injury he has revealed better value). Pero And Muscala won't return much either. I just don't see it happening other than player development or a revival by Brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't been able to watch tonight except follow on BR app but based on game feed and stats, it seems like we have everyone involved tonight. I like the spread of points, especially coming from our bench. Seems like we have had good teamwork based on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm having serious thoughts of a career change. I'm a teacher and am feeling quite burned out with it. I'm wanting a change but my advanced degrees are in education and I'm just not sure where to find a job that has the salary I need. Just curious, any ex-teachers here who have made career changes? Or any career changes at all?? I'm thinking about HR/ Training positions might be a good fit. Anyone in this field that can let me know if it's a good transition for teachers? Any help would be appreciated. Go Hawks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've wondered the last few days how this will affect his ability to sign players. As hard as it has been before, it will triple now. Now you have the city which they don't want to play in, an ownership group viewed as racist, and a GM viewed as racist. I don't see how he stays on as GM and is effective at the job. Players won't want to meet with him. It's sad really also. In my opinion, Ferry is getting it a little harsher than he should. No,he shouldn't have repeated those words written by the scout. He should have ignored the and focused on other parts of the report. However, the words were not Danny Ferry's words. He was quoting someone else, the scout(who interestingly enough hasn't been mentioned by name) The scout is the real racist, Ferry was just stupid to read the words out loud instead of ignoring the stupidity of the comments( which sounded like a bad attempt at humor) Some of the Hawks owners quoted and many articles quote the words as though Ferry himself said this, which is not accurate. Koonin seems to be the only one recognizing this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would agree. From the email text, it seems like more of a fan demographics observation. He was trying to come up with ways to generate season ticket sales and he had the idea that middle aged white fans would have more $ to put into season tickets and merch. Also that said fans were uncomfortable with other races being the majority at an event. I wouldn't put this into the same category as what Sterling did (not that anyone has suggested it was) It seems as though he was remorseful (unlike Sterling, who defended his words and fought to remain an owner) about his assumptions in the email and recognizes you can't make executive decisions with such ideas and attitudes. I'm assuming this based upon his statement released as well as Adam Silver's statement. Hopefully this will be an opportunity for him to grow and learn to respect others, as well as an opportunity for society to forgive and allow him to grow and better himself. I asked my insider friend about the rumored ATL/Det/Philly deal involving Monroe sign and trade to hawks. He replied: "Indeed. Philly wants to dump a few extra contracts and Detroit can't land Monroe (he's refusing to sign there) so logically, the Pistons want to get something out of it. So, they're willing to take some iffy bench players rather than go out without anything." I'm holding out hope they can pull off this deal using Philly's contracts to give Detroit enough return for Monroe. Hawks will have to send out someone but maybe not as much as if philly we're not involved.

I read that as "Partying in Flip Flops" lol..

That could be more clutch than creating offense

I hope they don't fear us. I hope they doubt our roster, our system, our coach and our cheerleaders/Mascots/Janitors or whoever else we have! Let them sleep on us until it's too late...

Next-level look at 2015 free agency (Milsap, DMC)

I could see them signing Asik, they were interested in adding him recently. His price should come down a bit also. -
Trade Millsap NOW! We won't re-sign him and his...

I don't think we will trade him. I think we keep him and if he doesn't resign we try a sign and trade to get something. I'm not saying I agree, just my prediction of what will happen. -

He clarified that Hawks were unwilling to part with Millsap or Horford. Dennis was a part of the deal along with picks and Lou Williams before he was traded earlier. Now that Lou is gone, he's not sure who else they would package with Dennis. My guess is now that Love had made it clear he's going to Cleveland, the Hawks aren't going to be in pursuit.
