  1. On a cheap deal, sure. I like Marvin, he just never lived up to the hype. He would be a nice bench player. Couldn't be worse than Cartier...
  2. Could he get minutes at center? May need to add 10lbs or so but he would be athletic center like Amare maybe?
  3. Could this be ferry's way of landing Love? I would want to keep Klay but could it be a move to swing for Love?
  4. Wonder if they would take a young player and a pick? Maybe Jenkins and 2d? Muscala might be an option also. They would.need someone to cover PF if they trade him.
  5. Could Payne play center if needed?
  6. Would a first and Lou do it? I think.he would fit well with our offense.
  7. I'm thinking he signs some free agents after July 1st
  8. I'm thinking he signs some free agents after July 1st
  9. I think defense was listed as his main weakness actually.
  10. Half of the stars in the NBA have a home here. I think his wife is from ATL if I remember correctly.
  11. Acie Law and Marvin, but Acie was the bigger disappointment to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nice, very nice.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think it depends on the sport. I would consider the Braves large market, but not the Hawks. The "Market" is the fan base, not population. It doesn't matter how populated Atlanta gets, if the fans follow other teams they will remain smaller market. The Braves have a following all over the Southeast region dating back to the old superstation 17 days when anyone could watch. The Hawks mainly have a following within the metro area as opposed to statewide. With ATL being a transplant city, the market will remain smaller until grabbing the attention of the next generation. We have the potential to grow as a market, but we first have to offer a good product (which we have) as well as break thru the fanhood of these well established transplant citizens. If they have been lifelong Knicks Laker or Celtic fans, it will be difficult to break through this loyalty. Yet maybe their kids will become Hawks fans and that is where the market can grow. 14. Is this gonna be another CP3/ Dwight thing like last year? It's a pipedream. highly unlikely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. What would we offer that wouldn't hit our talent? They wouldn't trade him for Kevin Love! What are we going to offer to top that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Maybe you forgot we are giving up our center who is better, younger, and cheaper? I would not trade Horford unless it's for a top 3 pick this year. Especially not for Asik and Parsons. First, we don't know that the wings this year will be worse than parsons within a few years. Second, Asik is way overpaid and Hou wants out to pursue a max deal this year, if they were just waiting till next year they wouldn't have him on the block,no way we give anything of value for him at this point. We are already adding an all star to our roster in the form of Horford. Only way I give that up is for another legit star that is better or top pick this year for a chance at a superstar of the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I think he wanted the payday that comes with being in Europe for another year. He will make way more over there so I don't blame him. He's still young. If I were him, I would have waited to enter a later draft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Maybe they can get some expirings from the other team along with some future draft picks for their trouble. Or, trade the assets they get for draft picks. It's always helpful to add assets as long as they don't bog down the finances in 2015 beyond. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. If you haven't seen this it's great! http://deadspin.com/what-might-happen-if-a-football-coach-coached-soccer-1012841849 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Their pick is obviously more valuable, but I think Horford does more for them in the short term than Favors. That is a nice offer though. They could trade back and still get a great player(possible Embiid) along with Favors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I was thinking more of late 1st round. Trading up into that range to snag him (20-25 range) as the best draft and stash player available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. http://m.espn.go.com/nba/story?storyId=11122639&src=desktop&rand=ref~%7B%22ref%22%3A%22http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FuEBfW3iJWO%22%7D Saric now saying he will stay in Europe two years. If he takes a mega fall, would ferry draft and stash him later in 1st? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. All of this is very true. It was also true of the Spurs at one time. Parker grew into the player he is by experience and coaching. Teague may never reach Parker's level, but he has improved each year I think. We also don't have anyone of a Duncan level yet, I doubt Horford reaches that level although he is immensely talented. We aren't there yet, but it's a good goal to have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I hate this! What a heart breaking situation. Hopefully he is able to stay involved with the game he loves in some way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
